Summary: I gave Wii Sports Resort to my parents (in their 60's) as an Easter gift... Mom loves bowling and golf, but when she saw the episode of Big Bang Theory with Sheldon and Lenonard playing Wii archery she lit up, like a little kid who just HAD to have that game! Considering WSR had all three as well as nearly a dozen other fun to play games purchasing it was a no brainer. And the games really were fun to play too...
Summary: I bought this for my roommate for Xmas. Pros 1. Has a few fun games all on one disc. 2. Decently priced. 3. My roommate enjoys playing it. 4. My roommate's daughter enjoys playing it as well. Good for kids. Cons 1. None yet, although I suppose if you don't like any of the games this title holds, you probably won't like it. It's a good starter game for the Wii. Nothing super great or anything but a good, solid time waster title.
Summary: The Wii Sports Resort is the next chapter of the original Wii Sports. With that being said, this kicks Wii Sports butt a lot. There’s more variety of games to be played, and it has the Wii motion plus, which gives better accuracy in gameplay. The reason I purchased this game is because my father and I would always play Wii Sports Golf, but after you play it so much the holes become so boring since there’s only 9.
Summary: Purchased over the "Wii Sports Club" subscriptions offered on the Wii U. For one low price, I get most of the sports I enjoyed on my Wii, with some extras that take advantage of Nintendo's updated "Motion Plus" Wii Remotes. If you're only partial to one particular sport offered by Sports Club, feel free to try out their subscription offerings, but I feel like this game is the best value.
Summary: Just bought this for my family for Christmas. They loved it. We all used to play wii sports, especially bowling. I wanted them to try something else. This is very easy to play, some games it takes a few tries to get it. Overall I would recommend this for families of all ages. It also gives you a good workout. Especially the cycling and canoeing game. Makes your arms sore haha. I got my grandmother, father, and siblings to play it.
