  • Excerpt: Wii Party is enjoyable among four friends or a smattering of casual party-going gamers who have never played it before. It's simple and therefore accessible to a casual, partying crowd, but this simplicity limits the long-term value.

Wii Party Review

G4
11 October 2010
  • Summary: Nintendo is bringing you more motion control party game action with the new mini-game collection Wii Party. With over 80 games, Wii Party is fun and there's a ton of variety, but, unfortunately, we've seen it all before.
  • Pros: A robust collection of modes and mini-games, House Party Mode is an interactive and interesting use of the WiiMote, Easy to jump into the fun
  • Cons: There's nothing groundbreaking about Wii Party, Some of the Party Modes are needlessly complicated, Mini-games repeat mechanics and can feel monotonous

Review: Wii Party

N-Europe
28 October 2010
  • Conclusion: Wii Party threatens to become the life and soul of the party if played in the right circumstances. But without four players, and a stern awareness that only certain modes are where the fun lies, Wii Party falls flat a little too often.
  • Pros: Excellent of Wii controller, Mini games are fun, Fun with friends, Clean, crisp look
  • Cons: Some modes seem like filler, ONE game board?, Not fun alone

Wii Party

  • Conclusion: There was a time when me and my friends gathered every week, year in and year out, to play Mario Party. Every year there was a new version that put a new golden shine on these evenings, until Nintendo suddenly had enough after Mario Party 8 , despite the fact that it was the most successful of them...
  • Pros: Very intuitive, a lot of minigames, several game modes
  • Cons: Lacks depth, sterile feel, annoying sound effects

Test Wii Party

Generation NT
