Summary: My son received this when he was 6. Months after playing it at a friends he requested it after seeing me browse wii games. He enjoys playing with this but he also very much enjoys music. Music helps calm him. He also enjoys the just dance games though this is completely different. He is able to be creative and surprises me with his ability to make some pretty impressive music with this game. Our family is pleased with this purchase.
I wouldn't waste time or money on this game, glad I bought it used!

Summary: We were disappointed with this game! My 3 year old loved to pretend to conduct music so a friend recommended this game. It is way too involved in teaching you how to play each instrument. Then you have to play songs such as Twinkle, Twinkle little star instead of just playing for fun. I think you have to go through so many programmed songs before you can just free play with it.
Summary: I got this game for my 4 kids to do together! and they love it!!! they learned quickly that the more they work together the further they will go and the better they sound!!! they took that lesson and put it to work in other aspects (chores, homework, games...) they love this game!!!
Summary: Simplz the best music game. Play a virtual drum set in the drumming mode, the one mode in Wii Music that also uses the Wii Balance Board accessory (sold with Wii Fit™). You’ll use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers as drumsticks, and place both feet on the Wii Balance Board—which work as virtual pedals for the bass drum and hi-hat cymbal.
Summary: I got this game because as I was growing up I learned to play the piano. Music is very important in my life and my kids lives. I really enjoy this game it is fun but also educational. It urges kids to not just play the music strictly as it is written, but to add their own styles and influence to the music. It also teaches pitch and chords and telling when a note is the same higher or lower than the note played.Me and my 2 girls love this game :).
Summary: this is a wonderfull game. well worth the money i spent on it. i liked using the wii remote as an instrument wether it be a trupmet, guitar, or a piano. this is one of the few games i havea and i love it. for maximum fun you should include friends and family to play with you.
Summary: This Music game is great for kids. This introduction and terminology to music is a great start for kids 2 and older. The "tutes" characters are fun to watch, and make it easy to experiment with different types of music and instruments. My 4 & 6 year old love to make new music videos within the game. It would be a fun party game at any age.
Summary: The game has a lot of instruments available but painfully too few songs to "play". The main things one can do is a series of 4 short-lived games, a "jam session", and some forgettable "music video making". 4 Short-Lived Games The Maestro game allows you to be a conductor of a symphony and conduct all of five or six songs. This seems like it would be fun, but works far less smoothly than expected.
