Exercise is a blast on the Wii Balance Board.

Wii Fit

Video Game Generation
4 December 2008
  • Summary: To an even more pronounced degree than most other Wii software, Wii Fit provides a fun way to get in a little exercise while playing some games at the same time. It’s almost as if the developers were trying to fool you into improving your health and getting in a bit better shape – at least in terms of flexibility and an overall sense of well being.
  • Pros: It’s cheaper than a gym membership, Hey, you might be able to lose some weight…, Puts the lie to the time tested adage that, exercising could never be fun, by definition
  • Cons: Drab, not particularly svelte trainers, Not enough variety, Repetitive, cloyingly mellow and undeservedly encouraging dialogue, Just barely meets the criteria for exercise…hardcore training this is not!

Wii Fit review

Wii's World
19 June 2008
  • Conclusion: The bottom line is that for $90 you get a fitness machine that will help make you look and feel better, if you use it consistently, and you get a peripheral that may be supported by several 1st and 3rd party games in the future. However, Wii Fit isn't for you if you're looking for a video game in general. Wii Fit doesn't follow any rules of good video games because it simply wasn't intended for that.

Wii Fit

Digital Chumps
1 June 2008
  • Conclusion: Nothing is going to replace the personalized advice and knowledge of a real live trainer, but if you’re simply looking for a truly functional, well-rounded exercise regimen that can be done in the privacy of your own home, Wii Fit will deliver. Also, if you're new to exercise, this is the perfect place to start.
