Summary: Brilliant product, have used one lot of batteries so far in more than six weeks. It's fun and if you have five minutes, that is catered for, if you have an hour, that is catered for. Buy it now and lose weight, without paying huge gym bills!
Summary: My husband bought me the wii fit plus for Christmas because I had gained weight and was very unfit. I started using it on 15 January and have lost 5 stones since (it's now 14 June)! I have never been able to run (I'm nearly 59 now) but, with the advantage of doing this in the privacy of your own home I started jogging for 10 mins. I could only manage one minute jogging and one minute walking - and even that left me sweating and out of breath.
Summary: I'm im my early 60s and thought the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board would encourage me to exercise, granted it did to start with when it was new, but the games and exercises are slightly patronising and not very absorbing. I think if what was on offer was more geared to anyone over the age of 10 it would be far more enjoyable, I think the software engineers are missing a potentially large audience by assuming everyone who buys this item is a little bit thick or childish.
Summary: First I was so unsure about buying the Wii fit board but I got it anyway. I was so relieved that it was not just made for people with normal weight. I am overweight and was looking for something that I could use at home. I love that I can use the board for all kind of games and that it is not just made for the Wii fit plus.
Summary: Anything that gets you active for a period of time has to be applauded, but not beginning on a false premise of accuracy in readings. As such this is a novel and amusing way of getting the slouch couches off their butt. There are various categories ranging from aerobics to muscle toning and postural balance which are quite innovative. Within these are various levels you can target based on time spent on the exercise and with some, how much effort you put in.
