The adventurous story opens when Wario trips upon an ancient artifact that is very similar to a wiimote. When he removes the artifact from its position, a giant boulder comes quickly rolling after him. You will have to save Wario from this disaster. You will discover more locations around Diamond city and Wario’s friends with new cut scenes and micro games to explore. You will discover that Smooth Moves new feature is the double edged sword. As the story evolves, some gentlemen will tell you new ways to hold your wiimote. One way is holding it like an umbrella another is holding it like a pair of handlebars on a bicycle. As you progress, more characters become available to explore and you will discover the Wii’s unique abilities such as micro games that feature your Mii, and what micro games are possible. The Wii Remote allows for lots of different microgames, and the variety is amazing. WarioWare Smooth Moves makes great use of the Wii Remote’s features and can be enjoyable to play by you or with friends. Moreover each game in the series has a different control mechanism which means that the microgame formula allows for more discoveries. The game is fast-paced, fun, and hilarious.
See lessAll in all, WarioWare Smooth Moves is fun to play, and shows off the versatility of the Wii-mote, yet you might not find reason for much replaying. If you’re interested, a rental with friends is suggested. Read more
What's to say more than "finally a game where I can pick my nose!". And I'm not joking, as there's a challenging that will ask you to pick the on-screen nose to get the points. WarioWare: Smooth Moves is the definition of party games and it's equally fun to play and watch, considering that there's so much stuff you can do thanks to the two controllers. Nintedo struck gold again, without delivering eye candy, a great story or a brilliant soundtrack. Pure gameplay and... Read more
All in all, Warioware Smooth Moves is probably not worth a purchase due to its very nature of playing microgames. You can see everything that the game has to offer in one solid evening of gaming, which makes a full price tag hard to swallow. However, Smooth Moves is one of the best rentals that you could make for your next party. Read more
As you've read, Smooth Moves does have its share of missteps. Rest assured that most of them are minor, and don't detract from the main formula of the Wario Ware series: insane amounts of fun. It's a tough call between this and Rayman Raving Rabbids , but at the same time you can't go wrong with either one. Wario Ware: Smooth Moves is one of the best Wii games so far, and belongs in the library of everyone who owns the console. You'll have more fun shaking your remote... Read more
I don’t hate this game, but there was a lot that needs to be improved on. One thing is all the stupid multiplayer problems. One of the big things being making the use of multiple remotes available, another being make the multiplayer games not suck. Stick to single player when you play this game and you’ll be fine. I really hope this isn’t the only Wario Ware game that will be released for the Wii. Perhaps in the next installment they could just keep the microgames... Read more
This game is crazy. I mean nuts, retarded, wacky...basically every synonym for crazy. The game is all about mini games. I dont know the exact number of mini games but I have had the game for months and I still havent unlocked all of them. You start by clicking on the chapter you want to start, and the game throws a bunch of mini games at you. The tutorial is my favorite part. Every mini game requires you to get into s stance. Some examples are the waiter stance where you... Read more
My 9 year old son loved this and was very good. I enjoyed the way it showed you how to hold the controler in many different ways and it was fun to find out the new names for them. However I had trouble when I got stuck because you did not have any other options to continue apart from retrying the same thing, so I found that quite frustrating. Read more
love this game. one things thats not great is that in order to have multiplayer, you have to beat the entire game. It took us about 2 hours to do so. But its so worth it. Multiplayer is soo much fun. Read more
This is actually a surprisingly fun game. It doesn't make a lot of sense seeing screenshots and videos of it until you actually play the darn thing. It's very fast paced and creative, including brilliant animation. My only complaints are that the controls for some of the micro-games seem to be a little off, and I wish I could play some of them in more fully fleshed out, extended versions. Otherwise, this is a great game that you can play for hours or just a few minutes.... Read more
The mini-games were fun. My favorite is Pyoro S. In Single Player, the only objective in large gatherings is to see who gets the highest score. This can be fun but can also get boring very fast. In Multiplayer, I wish they had a few more games (like 10). Darts, Star Nose and Bungee Jump were probably the only 'unique' games while the others had the same objective: Get the forms right or else you lose. Overall this game is highly recommended. Read more
