Wario Land: Shake It! Review

Cheat Code Central
14 March 2009
  • Conclusion: Even with its minor faults, Wario Land: Shake It! still manages to be a great platforming experience. Shaking your controller gets old very quickly, but the tried and true platforming goodness that is Wario Land, thankfully, remains intact. With all the hidden levels and treasures to be found and each level's missions to complete, Shake It! will also provide players with many hours of enjoyment, even after completing the game.

Wario Land: Shake It!

Game Boyz
20 October 2008
  • Excerpt: The current home consoles are a breed of machines that see a very little number of 2D platformers released. In fact these titles seem to have been relegated to the handhelds, which isn't a bad thing, but I would like to play more of these on a bigger screen. Well Nintendo seems to be one such publisher that has released a few good 2D platformers for their console, and they have once again stepped up to the plate.

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension (Wii) Review

WiiDS.co.uk
2 February 2009
  • Conclusion: Shake Dimension isn’t a terrible game, its just not a very good one either hitting somewhere in the middle of ‘ok’. Much like the disappointing Alone in the Dark, the game feels half baked and while it has beautiful presentation and fairly smart level design, forced motion gimmicks and a days worth of gameplay doesn’t warrant its price tag and will leave the player feeling deflated.
  • Pros: Beautiful, beautiful game, Smooth and responsive gameplay, Fairly clever level design
  • Cons: Uninspired gameplay, Extremely short, Hardcore market will feel unchallenged
