Summary: I'm a 52 year old woman who is overweight...hmmm by about 60 to 70 pounds. Too embarrassed at the moment to get out and walk around the neighbourhood due to my weight - can we say I'm a bit self conscious? I have been popping this game in to the Wii daily and do a walk for a half hour each day. Really enjoying the game and remaining focused.
Summary: I am not able to walk very far outside because of a bad hip. Because of the ease and the walking on the balance board, I have walked 150 miles. I enjoy working to build the towns, hotels, and looking for the music, clocks, and rainbows. My son is way over weight and he said that this is the first thing that has made him want to exercise, he has lost at least 3 pant sizes and firmed up. Thank you for this WI program and I hope that there will be more coming.
Summary: I've had Walk It Out! for almost a month. I was hesitant before I got it, figuring that it might be a little juvenile for me, a 29 year old guy, but I needed (and wanted, finally!) to do something about my weigh problem. So I loaded the game and ran through the creation process. This game has got to be one of the best games Wii has got out there.
Need a little work out that doesnt feel like one??

Summary: Ok Gang, this is what I feel about this item. The picture on the front is silly. Looks like a kids game right?? Nope...this is something I have recomended to Weight Watchers as well as my doctor. I am very over weight, needed something to get me up and moving even with my bad knee. I am 56 years old, and I love this silly, crazy game. Its habit forming so be prepared...and if you need a good habit this might be for you.
Summary: It takes A LOT for me to actually take the time to review anything....and spending thousands of dollars every year of internet purchases...leaves me little time to review anything...BUT that being said, I have to let everyone know how this particular game has changed my life....You say "your life"....well yeah because after dealing with a life threatening illness....and gaining a lot of weight with the medications....I was actually too depressed to even get up...
Summary: BACKGROUND: My 400 lb, 50 year old husband has had a hard time with exercise because of extreme feet swelling, back pain, and fatigue. He's very worried about his health and knows that he needs to have consistent excercise along with diet, and has tried to walk outside, but the hard concrete is jarring to his joints and feet. ENTER WALK FIT: What an awesome program! This program is motivating where others have failed.
Summary: I first tried this game using the DDR mat and I thought it was totally boring. Then I tried it on my treadmill and it was AWESOME! With the treadmill I can not only adjust the speed to match the tempo of the music, but I can also raise and lower the incline to keep my intensity level high even during the slow songs. I literally have to MAKE myself stop, and that's about the highest praise I could give any exergame. Highly recommend on a treadmill!!
Summary: This Game is Awesome! I have tried at least 5 other Wii Fitness Games only to be bored by them after the first few uses. This game has been so much fun. I actually can't wait to get home to work out. The best part is that it is so much fun you just can't stop. I will tell the BF I'm going to go work out for a half hour and won't come down for an hour and a half. Don't let the cover deceive you, this is not a game meant for kids. Its perfect for adults.
Summary: I started Walk It Out 7 weeks after having a total hip replacement. Before surgery, I was barely able to walk at all with a cane. After 3 weeks with WIO, I'm walking 3-4 miles at a time. My energy level is higher than I ever remember it, and I look forward to my session every day. I would think that this would be excellent therapy for people suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder or depression.
