Summary: I am used to playing Wii sports tennis, but I wanted something a bit more realistic and challenging. Well this game did it for me. It is definitely more challenging and with Wii motion it is more real. I enjoy it and think for the price the game is worth it.
Summary: I never cared for video games until the Wii. Wii Tennis is too easy. Virtua Tennis has fun mini-games and you can play in different modes. You use the Wii controller like you would in Wii Tennis for the most part, but there are more subtleties to Virtua Tennis 2009 than Wii Tennis.
Summary: Well, Virtua Tennis 2009 is pretty close to playing tennis. I say pretty close because you can still do the nintendo "flip and switch" a bit. However, like real tennis, it took a little while to get used to hitting the ball. First thing -- HOLD THE WIIMOTE SIDEWAYS!!!
Summary: I've had this game now for almost a week, and I've been playing it approximately one and a half hours a day. I'm getting better every day. At first, I was swinging wildly and hitting the bookshelf at times. No points for that. Just expressions of great concern from my wife.
Summary: Virtua Tennis is a great game on so many levels. The nice thing is that you can just pick up and play without reading a lot of instructions and still have a lot of fun, or you can build a character and really get into the games and tournaments and move up in the ranks.
