Summary: I never cared for video games until the Wii. Wii Tennis is too easy. Virtua Tennis has fun mini-games and you can play in different modes. You use the Wii controller like you would in Wii Tennis for the most part, but there are more subtleties to Virtua Tennis 2009 than Wii Tennis. You can even play live against real opponents online.
Summary: I am used to playing Wii sports tennis, but I wanted something a bit more realistic and challenging. Well this game did it for me. It is definitely more challenging and with Wii motion it is more real. I enjoy it and think for the price the game is worth it.
Summary: At first this game is a little frustrating, I played as Roger Federer and still managed to lose every point in the exhibition matches, but I stuck with it, played with VT personal coach, and then this game became awesome. Obviously, the graphics are not as good as those for the virtua tennis for ps3, but they are definitely better than wii tennis and the control is so much better.
Summary: I've had this game now for almost a week, and I've been playing it approximately one and a half hours a day. I'm getting better every day. At first, I was swinging wildly and hitting the bookshelf at times. No points for that. Just expressions of great concern from my wife. Gradually, on very easy level, I have begun to win games as Federer playing the guy from England (the all rounder) - I can't remember his name.
