Summary: In trying to make Virtua 4 a better game, they instead ruined it. The graphics are horrible compared to Virtua 4 which are very good. The controls for Virtua 4 are a little difficult at first, but once learned make the game almost realistic to the players playing a real match. Virtua Tennis uses a bar to be able to hit the ball. Not fast enough the ball goes no where. It is a game of frustration.
Summary: This game has nothing to do with Wii. They just took the PS3/360 game and ported it to Wii. It is pretty much like playing Sony's golf game, you have to time your hit while a speedy cursor moves across a bar. If you hit while the cursor is in the left of the bar the ball goes left and vice versa. It just takes you out of the game and makes you to concentrate on the cursor movement on the bar. Playing this one is no different than playing pong.
Summary: I played competitive tennis in my 20's and 30's - 4.5/5.0 - which is extremely good. The motion plus for this game is good, but a couple things about the game are so annoying it is completely un-enjoyable for me. First, the pop-up on the screen that is suppose to help you time your shot is great idea - except the fact that the pop-up actually conceals/obscures the ball so you can't see it. Secondly, the speed of the game is ridiculous.
Summary: I am left-handed, and I am very disappointed with this game. Can't get into the settings to choose whether to use nunchuck for movement vs auto-positioning. Can't find where to choose 'very easy' play mode, can't set up my custom player on World Tour mode as a left-hander and can't even play a practise match as I need to find a partner first. Well, where do I do that? Nothing in the instruction book to guide you!
Summary: The whole thing feels rushed and half finished. It's one thing to recalibrate the controls every point, but it's another to have to select Wii Motion Plus after every training and mini game session. Why can't I just hit "retry," instead of going back to the world map every time? The controls are wonky. It took me 90 minutes to win my first game. Not match. Game. It's not 1:1. Each motion tells the game what TYPE of swing animation it wants to do, not my actual swing.
Summary: When I was looking to buy this, I thought that the graphics would be really good and that this would be a great game to play. However, the graphics were disappointing as they weren't very clear and also the career mode is very unrealistic. I also didnt like the extra games they had on offer to play. If you are a real tennis fan then this is not the game for you.
Summary: J'ai ce jeux (Virtua Tennis 2) sur Dreamcast.
NO LO Recominedo!
