Looks Easy, But Isn't

jadedraven "jadedraven", Amazon
28 December 2011
  • Summary: Perhaps I just don't have the magic touch required to get this game going. A friend and I tried it out and quickly grew frustrated with it; it is VERY difficult to get the ball rolling using the Wii remotes, the balance board is a bit easier but still VERY CHALLENGING. I wish I'd not bought this one b/c it will require too much time to master the basics of game play. Loved the idea of this game...but will probably trade it in.

challenging Balance board game

TTT, Amazon
21 December 2011
  • Summary: I started with the Wii fit plus and like the table tilt game. I have marble kornicopia and Monkey Ball Step and Roll and like them a lot. So i bought this and not sorry i did! I love the challenge. I play the games only with the balance board. I would rate them as: 1) Marble saga Kornicopia as Beginner 2) monkey ball step and roll as advanced player. (very challenging) and 3) Vertigo as expert vertigo seems to be more responsive to slight movement on the balance board.

A challenging experience with the Balance Board.

RayTheUlitimateGamer , GameStop
20 August 2011
  • Summary: Thanks to the balance board the game is most fun. It's a lot like the Marble Saga games, that's a good thing. You roll around a ball and defy gravity, while listening to mildly entertaining music. The graphics are decent but could have been better By the way post all comments you want me to read under my preview of Bit.Trip Complete. On the Wii.

Challenging Ball Rolling Game - Controls are precise but a little awkward

Zandaxar, Amazon
9 January 2011
  • Summary: Basics: You tilt the wiimote to move the ball over winding courses toward the goal. There usually are several checkpoints throughout, that you can start at if you fall off the track. Once you fall off three times, you have to start the whole course over from the beginning. If played perfectly, most of the courses can be completed in about a minute or two, but with some courses requiring you to jump across gaps and clear other difficult terrain, they quite often will take...

Never should have been produced

S. Smith, Amazon
22 December 2010
  • Summary: If I could give this game negative stars I would. The game froze 3 times on me before I finally gave up. None of my other games have done that before or since so it was clearly this travesty of a game. The only good thing I can say about the whole situation is that Amazon refunded my money very quickly. I wouldn't keep this game if it was given to me as a gift.

Gawd Awful

Augenblick "Augenblick", Amazon
28 July 2010
  • Summary: Maybe you have to have the balance board which I don't, but with the wii remote it is horrible. Standing still is pointing the remote at the screen, holding it completely level, pointing it to the floor controls going forward, then rotating it left or right is what makes you turn. pointing it to the floor moved you backward. I have never seen such a terrible way to control motion.

Really good puzzle game

J. Ronan, Amazon
17 January 2010
  • Summary: My 6 year old son loves this game. By far his favorite on the Wii. It is difficult for him, but he is able to complete most of the levels on his own. It is a good concept, and well implemented, although some of the more difficult levels are just frustrating. Have not spent much time with the "bowling" and "battle" mini games, but we have had hours and hours of fun with Vertigo.

FRUSTRATING!

Louie the Italian Jew "Lou da Joo", Amazon
14 November 2009
  • Summary: this is a very good Marble Mania type of game with excellent controls. I just found the game to be too difficult to master. for the price, it's a good buy. make sure you use the wrist strap though, because you may throw the Wiimote at the TV. trust me on that part ;-) I have tried it with the balance board and the game responds very well to the balance board. I couldn't keep up, although I sat down on the balance board and did very well.
