Excerpt: XSEED Games and Marvelous Entertainment USA are proud to announce that Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga has started shipping to retailers across North America exclusively for Wii.
The third entry in the popular Valhalla Knights series and previously...
Excerpt: It's unfortunate, too, because underneath all the crap lies the framework for what could be a very good game. You have your typical classes such as fighter, mage, and priest, who each have their own experience levels. You're free to change your class whenever you wish by heading to the guild and paying a fee. Each time your chosen class gains a level, you get skill points that you can distribute among different abilities that class posseses.
Review: Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga (Nintendo Wii)
25 February 2010
Summary: Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is definitely not a game for most people. It easily sports the worst graphics of this console generation and the game is the personification of generic. The dialogue and plots of both adventures are horrible and everything is telegraphed from several miles away.
Excerpt: Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is the first of the Valhalla Knights series to be on the Wii, and it even has online play. You are a human male. Just a simple human male. But you have an even greater destiny.
Conclusion: want someone to blame for losing two minutes of your life, you know right where to point the finger. Because I told you so. Valhalla Knights: The Eldar Saga is the story of whatever ugly character you kind of, but not really, custom create. The world is in trouble, and you have to collect things to make it right. Were I to go into any more detail would give credence to the effort the developer put into the game. Do you want to know about graphics?
Excerpt: Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is the third instalment of the popular action RPG and marks the first time the title is available on a home console. I was looking forward to playing the game on my big screen given that I do not play games-on-the-go as much as I should. So after my time with Valhalla Knights what did I think? Read on to find out.
Excerpt: The downfall of mankind began with a meteor shower. Those little space rocks were a bad omen; not long after they fell, legions of monsters swarmed across the countryside. Millions were slaughtered, society collapsed, and the few remaining survivors of the various races banded together to save what was left. It took them a while, but they managed to drive back the hordes and lived happily ever after. Their descendants, on the other hand, weren’t so lucky.
Summary: Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is an action RPG that expands the series by introducing a co-op feature allowing two players to adventure through the land of Eldar with no random encounters while updating the real-time battle system to now include battles taking place on the world map instead of a separate battle screen for a seamless experience.
