Summary: she wore out the first one she had, and i had to get her another one to play because she used it so much. for the price, you cant beat the play power, and the background graphics are really cool.
Summary: I will say this right up front: yes, the actual board games are more fun than this--and there are other video games that have done this better. However, you get a nice varied collection with this that will suit different sorts. There are games for all ages. If you don't have anyone to play with, you can play against the computer. It is also great if you are too tired or too sick to drag out a board game.
Summary: Very disappointing! I was expecting fun and excitement and instead got the same amount as fun as if I had the actual board game in front of me. Usually, Wii games have some extra little games and graphics involved. The text was hard to see also. Had to strain my eyes to see some of the text.

Summary: I wanted a good backgammon game for wii. but they, for some reason dont make one. backgammon is one of my favorite games and I like to use my wii system. I was hoping this one would be at least desent, but you dont roll the dice they roll automatically between moves. it is difficult to move the peices, the graffix are very child like and the video quality is very poor.
Summary: I got my mom into playing the wii, and this was perfect for us to play together or by yourself. I would come home from work, my mother had put my kids to bed and enjoyed her time playing the wii Ultimate Board Game Collection. A few games we weren't too familar with so those were fun getting to know.
Summary: The game is somewhat fun. It has board games that are great for the family. The backround images are distracting and can't be turned off. The music can get into your head and give youa headache too. Overall it is a decent game that is not recomened for hardcore gamers.
Summary: Let me start my review by saying I have a six year old, a 13 year old and a 19 year old. Ultimate Board Game Collection is one of the very few games they can all play together against each other and the 6 year old has a shot at beating her older sisters. My six year old loves reversi and battleship. My 19 year old is absolutely unbeatable at quattro (connect four), and my 13 year old can kick anyone's butt at chinese checkers. That being said, I love Mah Johng.
