If this is only as good as the xbox version - it still rules

Ward Young, Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: First thing first - I'm not buying this! Why?... I have the xbox version and have played it to death! But that's why I will recommend this to Wii owners. This was an extremely(!)underrated shooter(don't believe me? - read the reviews!) that came out very late into the lifespan of the xbox/ps2... and totally went under the radar as a result.

It's no RE4....

  • Summary: First off, this is a great game that works well with the Wii. The controls are very simple to learn, and the story is great too. I bought mine used at GameStop and it didn't have the instruction booklet but I still learned the controls easily. It even gives you hints during the first few missions to help you learn them. The missions are awesome, as are the environments they take place in.

Solid Wii 3rd Person Shooter

Wild~Man "VG-Geek", Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: This is a straight port of the PC/PS2 title so if you've played either you will not find anything new. The Wiimote works fine for this 3rd person shooter. If you play on the Wii-you are already accustom to the Wii controllers and will find they translate perfectly well. The graphics are better than the PS2 and the sound is almost identical.

Fun, but flawed

NYJ, Amazon
26 December 2009
  • Summary: I had been looking forward to getting this title for the Wii. It was released months earlier in Europe, and was recently released in the United States for the Wii. This game is a port from the PS2/Xbox, so for those who have the title on that system, this probably is not worth a purchase. Rogue Trooper is a "3rd person shooter" which attempts to utilize the Wiimote motion controls. This presents the first flaw of the game however.

Rogue Trooper for wii, excellent hardcore game for the Wii.

  • Conclusion: This is a really great game, if your looking for a serious 3rd person shooter game for the Wii, this is it. Loads of weapons, upgrades and special abbilities give you different options for doing each mission. I finished the game ( took about 8-9 hours ) but am replaying it on a harder setting using different tactics. Can't recomend this game enough!!!

Cool game for the Wii

Tinkerbell66, Play.com
2 August 2009
  • Conclusion: As one. of the previous reviews says, this game isn't exclusive for the Wii. It has been released on the PS2 and PC before. The only difference is that quartz zone massacre has been added to the title. Probably the best third person shooter on the Wii. Reviewed by my son, aged 13. (who does the reviews on all of the games). Overall must buy for Wii.
