Summary: I bought this game for my Girlfriend who's a Trauma Nurse since she's not much of a gamer and I thought she'd enjoy it a bit. Well it is pretty fun, not very accurate medically, but fun none the less. the hand/eye coordination with the Wii remotes are what make this game. trying to make a straight incision is tougher than you'd think. We were having a great time learning to use all the tools in the proper order, etc. until we reached the middle rounds.
Summary: C'est pas le meilleur de la série, avoir su, je ne l'aurais pas acheté. Il y a trop de "virus", genre de petites "bibittes" à tuer, c'est trop loin de la réalité. It's not the best of the serie and if I could go back in time, I surrely don't buy it. There's too much of "virus", kind of little "bugs" that we have to kill, it's too far from the realty.
Summary: I tried to love this, I really did. The story is annoying, there is no proper spoken dialogue, you have to read it all. Its not so bad at first, but after a while you find yourself skipping through this and as a result its easy to get lost in terms of the story. In terms of gameplay, the first few levels are really good - pulling shards of glass from someones arm, fixing broken bones and even doing an organ transplant!!
Summary: I found the DS version of this game REALLY hard and was disappointed and frustrated when i got stuck on a certain level! it was a shame because i liked the concept of the game. So i was in two minds about buying the Wii version especially as it seemed pretty much the same story etc as the DS one. But it was on sale so i thought go on then i'll give it another chance. I must admit i was intrigued to see how the Wii remote was going to be used.
Summary: It's average at best. I admit I haven't played it that much as it simply doesn't make me want to play it any more. Gameplay is simplistic, actual in-game graphics are poor, cut-scenes are pretty but just get in the way (you can fast forward through them).
Conclusion: This is a game with a lot of hype it is no way as good as i first thought The surgery is all the same and at one point you have to defuse a bomb THEN IT GETS WORSE some people may enjoy only worth £10 NEW Any over dont buy!!!
Summary: This isn't a bad game, but it is a strange mix of ideas that have come together to form this. Firstly, the controls are good. A combination of using the wii remote with one hand to cut, drain, zap with laser, stitch and apply antibiotic gel, and the nunchuk with the other to quickly scroll between your options. The things you need to do to complete each operation are well paced, the problem solving aspect is good, and the difficulty is about right.
Summary: as the other reviewer wrote, the idea is excellent and the control method is great, however, the game does have the "minigame" feel to it, i'm not sure how much longevity you could find from this, and the amount of pointless cutscenes are highly irritating. i realise there must be some sort of story behind the game, but to get constant cutscenes (even mid-operation!!) does become vexing!!!
