Summary: We rented this through the amazon rental service. As a doctor myself my parents thought it would be a bit of a joke for us all to play at Christmas. The game consists of several "levels" with a running story throughout. I found the story very dull, and it was played out in words along the bottom of the screen. Often I just skipped through without even reading any of it as it was so boring.
Pros: No violence, uses hand eye coordination well.
Cons: Poor graphics, boring storyline, flat images, and terrible music.
Summary: Trauma for the Wii is not the greatest game available for the Wii. The way this game needs to be controlled causes the game to be extremely hard. Unless you have extremely good sense of hand eye control this is not the best game for you. Trauma requires you to save patients in life threatening situations and complete medical procedures under certain time constraints. There are many levels to complete throughout.
Summary: Quite a good concept this game but somehow it just doesnt entertain for long enough. You play the part of a surgeon and have to help patients and make sure they survive. You can use different tools to help them like using the scalpel to cut them open and then using gels to heel them or pulling out parts which are injured them.
Conclusion: I really wanted to like this game, but its main problem is that way too hard, even when you have it set to easy level. A lot of the reviews of this game in the mags have had the same problem. Don't get me wrong the concpet of it is brilliant and the controls brillaint, but its just why too hard and half way through you won't bother with it, I just hope the follow to this game is better.
