This Wii-format game is directly based on the animated 2007 movie entitled “Transformers”. This Wii-format version of the video game was developed for publisher Activision by developer Traveller’s Tales. “Transformers: The Game” is categorized under the adventure game genre.

When choosing a character, the player may play either as part of the Decepticons (the bad guys) or the Autobots (the heroes.) The game’s storyline will then diverge, depending on which side chosen to defend – if the choice is to be an Autobot, the story that unfolds will be based on the original movie storyline; if the choice is to become a Decepticon, then a new original storyline will be followed. The players can do game play either in single-player mode or in multi-player mode. If you compare this Wii-format version with the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions, you may find that this version tends to have lower graphics resolution but does have more details than the PS2 format game.
