Summary: TrackMania is a game which the user creates his/her own track and then races on it. Some kids are not geared to create the track - this can be very time-consuming. Other kids, like my 11-year-old son, cannot get enough of it. He'll spend many hours over a few days or weeks just building the "perfect" track. Then he races on it. Then he does it all over again. He equates it as Minecraft for racing. Consider this before you purchase.
Summary: Seen it for pc on you tube it was awesome .......so come to find out only available for the wii so got NOT disappointed this game is cool gotta fight the kid to play but very cool lots of tracks you can build your own !
Summary: I own the original TrackMania DS and that led me to pick this one up, and I am not disappointed in the slightest. More track types, more variety, more space and pieces to work with in the builder, just more fun overall. If you haven't played Trackmania before, like me before I tried the DS one, the controls will be frustrating at first, but you'll get used to them soon. It's not a racing game necessarily, but more like a racing platformer.
Summary: When most think of the Wii's game line up, they categorize it to two sections, Nintendo games and shovelware. Which is rather unfortunate, because when little known PC franchises like Trackmania make the jump to the Wii it is easy to categorize it as shovelware. This is far from reality. All of the Trackmania games provide the gamer with loads of content including online play, track editors, a comparable single player, and now for the Wii local multiplayer.
Summary: Trackmania. Those who have played this game on PC know how good this game is. Unfortunately this version on the Wii never received the praise it deserved which ultimately killed it's sales. Because every professional reviewer couldn't remove their heads from their rear ends and grade this game based on it's own merits and instead they slammed in every review. Why did it get slammed in every review?
