Summary: Although I love the workout the game provides me, I feel that the AI Engine favors the female players... they're more difficult to win against than the men. The most difficult player to beat is Moresmo; there is almost no serve and volley that she cannot return... a real challenge, for me. I especially like the way one can use the remote/nunchuk combination to control the ball. I use the game on a non HD TV and I like the realism of the players and the venues.
Summary: Top Spin Tennis for the Wii This is a more realistic game of tennis than that of Wii Sports and Sega Superstars Tennis. This game utilizes the Wii Remote to `swing', and the Nunchuck to position your player, aim the ball, and get ready to serve. I found the game was more fun after going through the 2 pages of tutorials. This is not necessarily a game that you can play right out of the box, unlike Wii Sports.
Summary: After about a year of playing the Wii Tennis that's part of Wii Sports, I was hungry for a tennis game that looked more like real tennis and allowed me to move the player: This is it. Other reviewers detail the way this game lacks certain features and certain players, and they're right: Nadal especially should have been included, as well as more women.
Summary: I can't stop playing this game. It's very fun and makes me burn a lot of calories as you have to serve and swing as in a real tennis game. I recommend this game to anybody who is a tennis fan.
Summary: Sometimes I think people expect entirely to much from a product. I wanted to buy this game months ago but after reading the majority of the bad reviews I hesitated. When the price dropped, I decided to go ahead and fork over the money. Some reviews stated that the game was complicated and having to use the remote and chuck was to much and that it was very cumbersome. After a week of playing the game, I did not get that.
Summary: I purchased this as a gift for Christmas and am glad I did! It is so much more realistic than playing with the mii that comes with the wii tennis game. It is a little more difficult because you use the knunchuck to move your player, and that part is hard to get use to doing. You can chose what player you want to be, and the players outfits (some of the female players need more clothes!) It works on your coordination making the players move, swing, etc.
Summary: I have wanted to get a tennis game for Wii besides the wii Sports tennis. I looked at this game and didn't buy from all the negative reviews here. But it was on sale on black friday and i decided why not? so i got it. IT ISN'T AS BAD AS THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS SAY. It has it's drawbacks but come on people....you aren't on the court and you can play this when it's raining outside!
Summary: After playing wii tennis , which was loads of fun . This games was hard to pick up initially , you might just give up easily , but after playing multiple times and getting to know the controls , This is awesome . True not too many characters , and the last tournament , takes too long . It should allow to save wherever you are , and continue to play later . You have to come back and play the same tournament again and wooo long another series of hours.
Summary: If anyone is looking for a tennis game for the Wii system then this is it. The Wii sports will do fine for anyone who wants a party/arcade experience but this is definately a step up for persons interested in a more pro experience. It has to be played with a nunchuck, i dont see any other way though as you have to control the players movement on the court as well as direct your shot ((it taks a little while to get use to but then it becomes second nature)).
