Pretty fun but pretty hard

bmack, Amazon
4 April 2011
  • Summary: This game is pretty fun but not very easy because you have to use the numchuk to control the player. With the game Virtua Tennnis and Wii Tennis the player moves on his own. The game is realisitic and is definitely not a bad game just probably bettet for a more experienced gamer than myself.

Good product, but I hope Top Spin 4 is better.

  • Summary: Good product, but I hope Top Spin 4 is better. The graphics are great, but I do not like using the nunchuck and prefer to use a racket. I bought this, but am waiting for Top Spin 4, and I hope it has the motion plus component.

Cool game. Don't love the nunchuk requirement

J. SPIKER, Amazon
3 September 2009
  • Summary: This game is fun, and more-true to-life than the Wii-Sports tennis game in terms of strokes and movement around the court. One thing that feels restrictive to me is the requirement to use the nunchuk. because it's tethered to the controller, I cannot take swings (especially forehands) at the ball the way I normally would in real life. It limits my ability to really whack the ball with correct form and full arm extension.

Great Game Almost

McBlaster, Amazon
12 November 2008
  • Summary: This is a Good enough Game and if you want a Tennis Game. The graphics are good, the game play is good - it requires a full swing of the wii remote. You must give the wii remote a full swing, not a jerk like the wii sports - wii sports taught us a poor habit which must be broken. Here are the problems with the game; 1.

Good Game

Eileen M. Marren "Harry Potter", Amazon
13 July 2008
  • Summary: Top Spin 3 is quite intresting when you first play it because you always hit the ball out. It only took me a day to become really good at the game. Threr are 3 reasons why this game anly gets 3 stars 1. No online play 2. No custom characters and 3. more tournamnets. One last thing this nothing like Wii Tennis.

Need some time to swing well. Okay for multiple players but very little fun for single player.

Po Ting Lin "Tim", Amazon
1 July 2008
  • Summary: ****__Control ***___Family Fun **____Individual Fun ***___Overall --- Descriptions --- 1) Control: Much more realistic control than Wii Sports but more complicated (i.e. You don't need to move the player and only need to swing in the way you like it in Wii Sports ). The control is a five-star for me but not for everyone. So I have to give it a four-star.

Not very good...

R. M. Wareing, Amazon
24 September 2009
  • Summary: This game, unlike other topspin games, is a toral disappiontment. The gameplay itself is slow, is too easy, and is just too repetitive. There isn't a career mode, or anywhere to make your own tournament, so this game is not at all like its earlier versions where the gameplay is fun, and always entertaining so i would not recommend this game to anyone, because there are clearly better tennis games for the wii on the market.

Good fun

Mr. Fz Joubert, Amazon
21 June 2009
  • Summary: This is a good challenge if you play with people. The "road to glory" option in game play is not that challenging though, plus there is no pay off at the end. Other then that its good fun!

No Left Handed Option

JC, Pricerunner
31 January 2009
  • Pros: Good control as you use both arms (control and Nun Chuck)
  • Cons: No option for left handed players
