    Top Spin 3 on Wii finds itself in a quite unfortunate position. It doesn't have the cuteness and incredibly simple pick up and play appeal of Wii Sports Tennis and it's not really in-depth enough to be a simulation. It's a competent game of tennis, but nothing more, and when competing with what is arguably one of the defining games of this generation that probably isn't good enough. Read more

    Browsing through the IGN review archives, it looks as if Top Spin 3 is the first realistic tennis sim to hit a Nintendo system in over five years – the last was the completely forgettable WTA Tour Tennis for the GameCube.     There's more to life than great controls, just not here. That's it? Yikes. Unlike Icarus, poor Will hardly even left the ground.     As expected, multiplayer is where it’s at, but it really comes down to how often you’ll be using this feature. If you love tennis games and frequently indulge in multiplayer Wii-action, give this game a look. Otherwise, stick to renting. Read more

    When it comes to Tennis on the Wii, everyone has been crying out for a more comprehensive and thoughtful version. Sure, there has been Sega Superstar Tennis, but what the average Wii gamer is hankering for is something that takes the fun of Wii Sports Tennis and takes it to the next level.     I have always been a big fan of sports games, and especially tennis games. I have had my Wii for over three years, and have very little games for it. I bought Top Spin 3 last year, as I read some reviews on the game and saw the advertisement for the game and I must say I was pretty impressed with what I was seeing. Did I like it when I bought it?
