Summary: This was the second purchase of this game. The first one did not work (purchased thru Wal Mart who discontinued it). This one does not work either. My son spent over 45 minutes on the phone trying to calibrate and it cannot be done. We are very disappointed.
Summary: I'm a child of the 80's and was an avid skateboarder back then and can remember Slimeball wheels and all those other wonderful things besides high interest rates. I now have a 3 and 5 year old and thought this game might be a fun way to introduce them to the world, even if it was pretend, of skateboarding. The game itself is a lot of fun and can be played even by my 3 year old if you help out a bit.
Summary: I am so mad right now! This game sucks!! We spent way to much time trying all the "tricks" to get this stupid thing to calibrate! I give this -5 stars...total waste of my time and money...not to mention the disappointment for my 9 year old son. Now I have to spend who knows how much of my time trying to get my money back! I do not recommend this to anyone!
Summary: The game will NOT calibrate. During the game set up it asks you to set the board a certain amount of feet away from all objects in the room and have a direct link to your wii sensor bar. We did this, several times, and nothing. So we called the number in the instructions. You cant get a real person, its all animated. So we researched online and found hundreds of other complaints of the same problem.
Summary: Everything looks good when you take it out of the box. The board seems sturdy, the preview graphics look awesome. However I never got to play it. you must calibrate the board with the wii. this is impossible. i looked up tips and stretgies to try and accomplish but i got nowhere. i tried every trick i read online. u need 4 feet of space around the entire board with no metal objects near by. i rearanged my hole room and it still didnt work.
Summary: Like many before me, I tried to calibrate this board in oh so many ways. I put it all around the floor, moving furniture, and every thing else, out of the way. In the end, after a dozen tries, I gave up and decided to return it. What frustrates me most is that the calibration process has absolutely no feedback, so you don't know (until it's done after 15 seconds), if you are doing something wrong, or if something is in the way, etc.
Summary: This was my son's number one choice for his Christmas Gift. After trying everything imaginable short of standing on my head and singing Yankee Doodle, nothing would get this game going. This is the most frustrating and disappointing toy we have ever bought. Tony Hawk needs to step up and do something about this.
Summary: I bought this game for my husband for Christmas, but we couldn't even get it to calibrate once so he could try the game. We tried leaving the room as it was calibrating, changing the batteries, everything. It still wouldn't work. It was a HUGE waste of time! The manufacturer's need to make sure their product works in people's homes and not just an empty white room. They should have done more tests before releasing this game.
