It's a fun game... but...

Brandon Prasnicki, Amazon

  • Summary: You can only play online against 1 other friend. You can't play match play or skins and you no tournaments are ever scheduled. I like to drink beers and play against the college buddies... I want to be able to play a round with four friends during the winter and actually watch their shot from their POV... This doesn't do that.

Disappointed

  • Summary: I am not impressed with the green undulation indicators. Tiger Woods 11 was more clear and defined. This subject is important for the total scoring.

  • Summary: Like the game, but it's really hard. Thank goodness I only paid $1.23 for it. Since I won a gc from work, oh well lesson learned.

  • Summary: We sent the first game back-it kept freezing up, 10 times during 2 hours of play. The replacement game only froze up twice in 2 days, same play time.We have a tennis game by EA sports that has never froze up.We are keeping the replacement game because it is a lot of fun and has a lot of courses and other golf games.

  • Summary: Playing any of the EA Sports tw series is fun, but this game has many features that are good and many that need work. I'm not saying they are bad.. I'm just saying they need work. The graphics are the same as every version of the two franchise so I as a little let down in that area. All of the courses except Augusta have their fly bus which was also a let down.

Really?!

Nunya, Amazon

  • Summary: This is the next in the Tiger Woods Golf franchise. I bought my copy for the Wii. In my opinion, the graphics have regressed. The past versions, I have been able to make my golfer look very much like myself. Not so much in this one. The course graphics have regressed as well. I am surprised that both Tiger Woods and Augusta National signed off on this game.

Faster operation that earlier versions; graphics are not realistic or even close

  • Summary: 10-15 years ago I had an Arnold Palmer Links program that had beautiful renditions of various courses including Banff which is included in this program. This version is vastly inferior to my earlier Links program. The Augusta National course is all solid colors with no gradation or shadowing. It looks as if it was drawn by a cartoonist with all solid colors. The program offers many other activities and I have yet to figure out how to save my progress.

GREAT CONCEPT BUT FLAWS IN OPERATION

grincheux, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I bought this after using PGA tour 11 for some time and the software is equally clever but just as frustratingly flawed as before. I don't have my wii connected to the internet so the new feature of trying to connect at start-up means that I have an awful long wait for it to discover that there is no connection each time that it starts or is reset.

  • Summary: Not quite as cool as I had hoped for - but still interesting to play Augusta. Only just started playing as a career golfer.

Good at times but has more bugs than a tramps bed!

  • Summary: Bought this game about 6 months ago so I decided to give it a fair test before I reviewed it. THE GOOD...You get to play at Augusta for the first time on any game on any console. I read somewhere that the games creators went to Augusta and mapped out the course and all it's undulating contours and apparently the game is very accurate to the real thing. After playing it several times you could appreciate how difficult Augusta really is.
