Summary: Not what we expected at all. We had enjoyed playing our other Wii games, especially the golfing ones but didn't like this Tiger Woods one at all. Returned it soon after purchase; don't remember a whole lot about it.
Summary: we are not that clued up on computer games and did not find this game interesting at all. Since we have got our WII about 18 months ago we have had a lot of satisfaction with the WII sports games. We went to my son's for xmas and he had the 2010 version which we tried and thought we would get one, but this was too expensive. This game was brought as a xmas present from my boss. I have found it to be a waste of money. Still, you learn by your mistakes.
Summary: The service from amazon was exemplary as usual but the game however was not. What a waste of time, money and space. I ended up giving the game away 2 days after i bought it, it is so complicated and ridiculously cumbersome that i really couldnt be bothered with it. If you are looking to buy then ask a friend who has a copy or go to an outlet for a practise run as it is complicated to use. Maybe i should have just played a game of golf?
Summary: This game would be excellent if only the putting action were realistic. Unfortunately, in order to putt the ball across the green, you are required to 'swing' the club as you would an iron, otherwise it moves only a couple of meters. I have read numerous complaints about this particular game on blog sites, so this is not just my own personal opinion. I'm surprised Tiger Woods has allowed his name to be used on this one!
Summary: There is a major flaw with the putting (as confirmed by many other users - search goodle) which is completely unrealistic, needs a full power/unrealistic swing and even then is often not enough to reach the hole on 10 ft putts. This is enough to render the game unplayable and very frustrating!
Summary: I loved Tiger Woods Golf 2008 on the WII. The control system felt realistic and it was heaps of fun to play. I often found myself playing against friends till the early hours of the morning. This 2009 version of the game looks nicer, has some extra courses and plays really well. That is until you get to the putting green.
Summary: This game is awful.everyone says it offers a possible winning streak for younger people or people that dont play golf. i for one think that this is truely wrong. the putting is awful and it is nothing like playing golf at all. it was clearly made by a man as they are the ones that cant work out where the best place to put blusher is (on the corner of your mouth is not correct. i have taken this back to the shop as i hated it...
Summary: this game is sh"t good enough for the commodore 64 and no more.tiger 08 is the best golf game to date.u ruined the putting?????????????? i was at 1 with the ball now im all over the place??? give it up (i want a refund) hopefully 2010 will improve on o8?????
Summary: This game has got bugs in which reduce the ability to achieve anything in it. The putting isn't great at all, but at least with things like that you can eventually get used to it. As mentioned before in these comments, when you start a career, the first tournament you enter, you get to the 12th hole and there's no hole on the green! Completely useless! If you just want a game with your mates or want to play against people online then great.
Summary: I had hoped this was going to be good but I was wrong. Most of the courses are dark making it difficult to see where the fairway finishes and where the rough begins. The game coach makes a big point of saying the quality of the game is dependant on the controls and to be honest I can't get on with them. In the standard setting, driving between 90% and 100% is achievable; Any less isn't registered as a swing. I have to agree putting is a total lottery.
