Summary: I have the computer game... same one. I bought this one for the overall action of the controller. The computer game has more features... like specific practice play without being coached... and the option of automatically becoming a professional player with professional abilities when you create a golfer. This one, unless you pick a specific professional golfer, you have to start out as an amateur and work your way up without the choice of being a professional.
Summary: I sold my Tiger Woods 08 and bought 09 then had to sell 09 and get 08 back because of so many glitches in 09. Really like the 08 it extremely good....not great but good solid and dependable. Fun for all ages and you are able to work up a sweat and actually get some physical exertion but only if you want to. I like the game and consider it a good value.
Summary: This is one of the first 5 games we've bought for our Wii, and so far it's the most fun. The career mode is pretty cool, the variety of courses is impressive, and the use of the wiimote is awesome.
Summary: I have never golfed and since we bought the Wii I just had to try it out. I'm having a blast! It is frustrating at times and that's because it is challenging! There are some minor glitches but the game is worth getting. I find myself playing 2 to 4 hours at a time. Believe it or not, I get a workout. The instruction book is not very informative and I have been tempted to write a blog on some of the game functions I've had to discover through trial and error.
MUCH better than TW `07!!! Finally, a great realistic golf game for the Wii

Summary: After being frustrated beyond belief with swing issues in TW `07, EA must've heard me cursing the game one night. 2008 corrects 95% of the glitches in swing from `07, finally giving us another golf game outside Wii Sports that accurately mimics your real swing. If you slice, you'll see it here. Hook the ball, you'll do it on this game. The realism and variety of actuals courses is great :). I hope online play comes next year. Also, be careful putting.
Summary: I don't know who's complaining about graphics, but those who are need to get a life. Graphics are great on the wii. It's like a PS2. I didn't own the 07 version, but from what I've read, if you own that, don't but this version. If you don't, buy this game!!! This was my first Wii game outside of wii sports. I love the graphics, love the gameplay so far but I do have one major complaint. It deals with the sensitivity of the wiimote.
Summary: First let me start with the griping. There are some rendering glitches -- hit it long and/or right on hole 2 at East Lake if you want a blatant example, one that thoroughly interferes with gameplay. The grass is suddenly so tall it consumes the entire screen, and the game grinds to a near halt. You can still hit it out from here, but you'll be doing it blind. Second gripe involves false swings -- like the 07 version, it still has them.
Summary: When I got my Wii, I eagerly awaited the release of TW07--it was good--using the wiimote as a club worked quite well, but the controls seemed a bit twitchy, both in menus and also rarely when swinging the 'club'. TW08 is really what 07 should have been--yes the graphics are less than stellar, but they are significantly better than 07.
