Summary: My 6 year old daughter received it for Christmas and enjoys playing it. I would say she plays it at least twice a week, if not more. The levels are more difficult, the higher they get, and we have to help her in some parts but she still loves it.
Summary: My son loved this game and quickly played through all the levels. He is 5. We play the Wii on an older tube TV, it was hard to read some of the little print associated with the characters in the village. I imagine if it was played on a big screen this would not be a problem. A few times at the upper levels, the game got stuck. We have to reboot to get it start over. Not sure if was our system, little ones finger prints or a bug in the game.
Summary: My two nephews really enjoy playing this game, Smurfs 2 of the Wii. They never did play the first Smurfs video game, but they do eventually want to get it as well, since they do enjoy this one. They said the game is kinda like the Super Mario games, but with Smurfs instead. This is rated E (Everyone) so it is fine for children.
Summary: Unfortunately, the movie didn't do well, so the game doesn't get a lot of attention. However, don't let that stop you. This game is a blast -for young and old alike. You can play your favorite characters (Pape, Grumpy are my favorite). And like Mario, you have to rescue the princess (for us, the only princess from our childhoods, Smurfette). You collect berries along the way while avoiding various obstacles on an increasing silly/difficult level.
