Summary: My kids are almost 7, 4.5 and 1....obviously the 1 year old isnt playing this game ;) but our older kids are enjoying it. They love the smurfs and this game is easy enough for them to play without requiring my help or my husband's. It's a little repetitive but they don't mind. And this game only uses the remote, which we like better than the games that need both the remote and nunchuck. Decent purchase, would recommend this game.
Summary: My 7 year-old daughter is a huge Smurfs fan and has really enjoyed playing Smurfs 2 Wii. It's a pretty typical side-scrolling platform game, where your Smurf's job is to run through the level, collect Smurfberries, potions, and coins, free enchanted animals, and defeat various enemies. You get to choose which Smurf you play as, and as you progress through the game, you can unlock additional Smurf characters with different abilities to help you...
Summary: My 8-year-old really enjoys this game. She set it up and started playing without any help from me and she has enjoyed it quite a bit. She likes the fact that you can switch Smurfs. The game plays like a modified Mario game with different levels to work through. You can play in a multi-player mode but that requires a greater degree of cooperation than my 8-year-old and my 13-year-old could muster (but they find cooperation difficult in Skymasters and Lego Star Wars as...
Summary: I know a video game after a movie is kind of a silly concept and usually is considered a marketing ploy. But as I now have children, I am beginning to realize the value of being able to play characters that they already care about in order to promote interest in a video game. My daughters are immediately drawn into the Smurf world with its bright colors and simple characters.
Summary: I like to have games to play with my 8-year-old daughter. One of our favorite games if Kirby's Return to Dreamland, but when this one coming out, it has become a close second. If you are looking for an easy game that won't frustrate your kids while providing plenty of entertainment, this is a pretty good choice. Of course, those looking for more challenging gameplay will be sorely disappointed.
Summary: Having watched the kids play the game for a while and having played a level or two myself I can say that the game is quite fun. Don't expect any earth-shattering gameplay but if you like the type of game you'll definitely get quite a few hours of play out of it. The levels are engaging with quite a bit of imagination in the enemies and structures encountered. The backdrops are also well designed and improve the look and feel of the game.
Summary: The Smurfs 2 game is a fun game that I enjoyed playing. My kids (3&9)were not patient enough for this game. They wanted to put it up before it barely got started. I wanted to stick it out to see where this game would go. I enjoyed playing the game and look forward to hours of fun playing it.
Summary: This is a standard adventure game, where you go from left to right on the screen, or from down to up (once you reach New York). In between stages, the Smurfs are at home on the screen (this part IS "3D"), and new portals eventually are unlocked. I get a little disoriented in 3D games, so I really appreciate the straightforward, old-fashioned feel of this one.
