Summary: I loved the Smurfs when I was little so I though this game might be something I would enjoy. While it was fun to play a few times, it left a little to be desired for me and isn't a game I would see myself playing very often in the future.
Summary: Poor game mechanics- it was hard to tell how to make things happen such as switching menus or moving. The storyline was that Smurfette was caught by the Naughties and befriended them. Her Smurf buddies attempt to rescue her and she has to choose which group to stay with. The player is a smurf who is trying to rescue Smurfette.
Summary: The kids got bored with this game within the first hour. At first it is kinda cute, but after a while it gets pretty repetitive especially with an 8 year old working the controls. Overall, this game could be a little better. Certainly a little easier for the younger kids. I would recommend this game to kids above 10.
Summary: The Smurfs 2 for the Wii is a decent game for the kids that follows the action of the Motion Picture. Smurfette is kidnapped by the naughties who are controlled by Gargamel and as Papa Smurf or one of the other Smurf gang you try to chase down the kidnappers and rescue your sister. The game has about 30 levels and six boss battles. The gameplay is fairly easy and Kids who can get thru Donkey Kong or Mario Galaxy should have no trouble.
Summary: I decided to try this game because my son was newly-obsessed with Smurfs and it looked like a cute game. The game is rated E, and we found the rating to be appropriate. This is definitely more of a game for younger kids. Older kids may get tired of this quickly. As some other reviewers have noted, this game is VERY similar to the concept and format of Mario Brothers. The idea is that Smurfette has been captured and you have to rescue her. Sound familiar?
Summary: I believe the most appropriate age for this game will be around 5-7. It's a relatively inexpensive game therefore don't expect much in regards to high tech graphics. If you're familiar with the Mario games, the format for Smurfs 2 has a very similar layout. Users can select one of 4 Smurf characters to initially play the game. Five additional Smurf characters can be "unlocked" when the boss (a large frog) is defeated in a more advanced level.

Summary: My wife Christine is a HUGE gaming fan and she fulfills most of her playing on the Nintendo Wii. Her favorite game by far has been Super Mario Brothers and the first thing I noticed when I watched her playing this SMURFS 2 Wii game is how similar this game is to Super Mario. The Smurf characters running, jumping, smashing stuff, finding hidden treasures and such--very similar to Mario and Luigi.
Simple game, best for very young kids. Graphics could be a little better and the character size should be larger

Summary: I have been playing The Smurfs 2 on the Nintendo Wii for a while now. It has a similar gameplay style to Super Mario Bros but it is a slower paced game since the characters don't run they only walk. It's the same basic concept but a totally different theme. It's multiple levels of jumping over obstacles avoiding creatures that might hurt you and collecting smurf berries.
