Summary: "The Simpsons" for the Wii is, in general, a good game. Clever plots, nice animation and great voice work. Unfortunately, controlling the players is a lot harder than it needs to be. It seems as if absolutely perfect coordination and timing, plus a little bit of luck and being in exactly the right place at the right time, is necessary to be able to advance further in the game.
Summary: just wanted an easy, fun game to play on the wii. this game is pretty boring, and the controls arent that great. the most fun is seeing the different characters but on the whole its not really a fun game
Summary: I waited forever for The Simpsons game, but in the end, my opinion was fairly mixed. The game has an amusing storyline, each charector has unique powers( especially Lisa, with her, what the heck, voodoo powers?), and interesting cell-shaded graphics, but the bad news is the cell-shaded graphics are similar to Gamecube, the fighting is repetetive, the controls are aqward, and the camera is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!
Summary: The Simpsons Game for the Nintendo Wii has a lot of very fundamental flaws. Poor camera control, bad viability in multi-player mode, not enough for to do in multi-player mode, and a lot of actions right from the beginning that are just within the physical abilities of the characters, meaning that if you're off by any amount you're not going to have to re-do a long, drawn-out series of stupid tasks just to get back to where you were, and then you'll probably screw it up...
Summary: I'm a huge simpsons fan, and I personally liked this game, but not so much. I think they should have stuck to a 3-D look instead of making it animated like the show. Lots of character appearences, but you could only play as the family members (of course). There's not as much freedom as in hit & run and the graphics are kind of choppy. The controls are easy and well.
Summary: Great game! I love all the voices from different characters throughout the game. It's like being in a episode from the Simpsons. With it's own story just for this game. I have to admit, this game is kinda tough. It's a video game! I guess that's what they do. It makes you frustrated playing the same level over and over because they are so hard. But nevertheless get this game. It's a great addition to your Wii games collection!
The Simpsons are great but this game could be better

Summary: I love the Simpsons and some of the ideas in this game as the plot develops. Lots of funny scenes and fun parts in levels, however this game drives me batty because the camera angle is awful, it keeps spinning to a direction that I don't want to be looking at so I constantly have to adjust the viewpoint. They should have gotten tips from the makers of Mario Galaxy and Zelda Twilight Princess on how to do the viewpoint in the game.
Summary: I think the developers just took on way too much to create a game that really works well. There are some parts that are very fun, but in general this game is way too frustrating. The camera has serious problems and creates situations in which you can't see what you need to do. Just when you think the game is over, it continues on with some bigger than mini-games which could have been games all on their own.
Summary: I am a relatively new gamer, but a HUGE Simpson's fan and so was very excited about this game. I tried it out, and while it is way cool that they got the real voice actors to do the voices for the characters and the in between videos, and the graphics are also really cool (the characters look almost exactly like they do in the show); I was very disappointed. The main problem is that the game play is extremely difficult.
Summary: I was excited because it was a new Simpsons game. They went through all this trouble to animate cut scenes and to get the actors voices. But the graphics of gameplay and in general the challenge and fun of gameplay are lacking. Wished so much more for this.
