Summary: This is a very good game lot's of fun but it is glitched/bugged, I had an xbox360 one and kept freezing glitches etc till marge's character wouldn't do what she's supposed to and therefore unable to proceed and do anything very frustrating, then as my son liked the game so much and was so disappointed I tried to get another for his wii console in the hope that it would work but same thing again this time homers character was not working properly.
Summary: I am definitely not a gamer, so I enjoyed the cut scenes and the funny quotes. But who ever is responsible for the release of this game in a worse than beta should ever be version needs to crawl under a freakin' rock and hide!!! The controls are awful and respond well after you pushed a button, the camera is a disaster and the so called puzzles are just frustrating, since they're obvious and you have to start over what's more an annoying combination of actions than a...
Summary: My husband has always been a massive Simpsons fan and so when we got our Wii we immediatly brought this game. Our only other experience of Simpsons on the computer is the PS3 'Hit and Run' Simpsons game which he thoroughly enjoyed. What a disappointment. The game feels awkward to play, the controller and numchucks have to be used simulationusly and the 3D rotational screen makes it very difficult to face the characters in the direction that you want them to let alone go...
Pros: It has the Simpsons in it - if you like that!
Cons: Hard to control, Slow paced, lack of additional features
Summary: When i first saw the game i thought good brand (the simpsons) and i thought it would be a ok game for the wii by the middle of the first level was bored stiff bad camera angles bad story line bad movement sold it the next week
Summary: I'm afraid this is an awful game, the graphics are terrible, even for the Wii, the gameplay is mindnumbingly awful, hard to know what you are doing most of the time, the controls are bad, there really is nothing good to say about it, what i suggest is that you buy The Simpsons Hit and Run for the gamecube (which will work on wii) as that is a far superior game with better graphics.
Summary: Appallingly unplayable in many places, a hugely disappointing, criminal waste of fantastic graphics, vocal and writing talent. Several sections, even in so-called 'easy' mode, can only be passed by the brute force application of tedious hours spent repeating the same task literally hundreds of times until by accident you succeed.
Summary: I bought my Wii from Amazon & decided to get this game along with the console after owning The Simpson's Hit & Run on PS2, I thought The Simpsons Game would live up to the same standard, How wrong could I be. The game is truly awful. The camera angles for viewing are totally wrong, making it virtually impossible to see where you are going, I found I have to keep adjusting the viewing angle to see where I am or what I need to do which is pointless, adds to your game time...
Summary: Its a pretty simplistic game really, and its not that the tasks and levels are difficult on their own, but the game has a lot of flaws. The graphics is typically simpson-y and it actually looks quite poor, the 3D doesnt do the style any justice at all. Secondly, the camera, it was unbelievably bad, it barely follows you like it should and you have to spend a lot of time faffing about trying to jiggle the camera to the angle you need to see where you're going.
