Summary: The game is fun in terms of single player action. It is simple to learn and provides hours of fun. The only complaint is that the 2 player co-op requires one person aiming at the screen and shooting at the bad guys to stun them. It can help or hinder the first player but it gets boring fast for the 2nd player.
Summary: My four and six year old kids love this game and play it over and over again. They like being able to add accessories to their characters (sunglasses, hats, etc). I like that it's not too violent and that their character doesn't die right away so they are encouraged to keep trying and not to give up. It's fun to watch the kids work together by talking about the best way to conquer leader pirates (Broco-Lee, etc.) at each level. I wish I could find more games like this.
Must buy if you are a Grand, Parent, Child, Uncle or Aunt...

Summary: IT IS SO HARD TO FIND GAMES FOR MY 6 YEAR OLD, AUTISTIC DAUGHTER! SHE HAS A GENIUS IQ, BUT HAS MANY DIFFICULTIES INCLUDING GETTING FRUSTRATED EASILY IF SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING RIGHT AWAY, AND BECAUSE SHE IS IN THE EARLIER STAGES OF READING, I HAVE TO EXPLAIN HOW THE GAMES IS PLAYED, AND I CAN'T HAVE A GAME THAT HAS A LOT OF READING TO DO ON THE SCREEN WITH BIGGER WORDS.
Summary: My 5YO loves that he gets to shoot alien vegetable pirates into bite-sizes to help me and his daddy through the game. He eats broccoli with dinner now. This is fun and engaging and very appropriate for young kids. Save the fine planet of Star Ving, eat your veggies!!
Summary: I bought this game on a hunch for my kids and they loved it. My younger son is not as good at games as his older brother, but he really excelled at this game. All three kids thought it was funny and entertaining. It's got a psychedelic Pac-Man feel to it. Totally appropriate and nothing violent. It's perfect for younger kids.
Summary: Grandma went to the toy store to get our son a Mario bros. game for his birthday, had a heart attack at the prices, and got The Munchables instead. Hubby and I rolled our eyes, son put it in the Wii, and he proceeded to have the time of his life! He is 6, and the gameplay is simple enough for him to master quickly.
