Excerpt: I really do like this game, and, as a hardcore Zelda fan, it was satisfying... At least, it was satisfying the first time through... But, having played in once, I don't find the same pleasure in it. However, it is still a game that Zelda people need to play, as it deserves the awards it has gotten. May the golden goddesses be with you!
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) - Review
30 March 2009
Excerpt: Whenever a new Zelda game is announced the gaming world goes crazy. While not the highest selling gaming series ever created, Zelda games are well known for their high quality and for their ability to push the action-adventure genre to new boundaries. In this case Twilight Princess was originally developed as a Gamecube game and later ported to the Wii.
Excerpt: If you thought you had Link all figured out, it's time to think again. Sure, The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess is packed with series staples—a robust main adventure, plenty of side quests, a long line of memorable dungeons—but this is a much darker Zelda . The land of Hyrule has been conquered by an evil new king and is being overrun by the Twilight Realm.
Excerpt: The Legend of Zelda series needs no introduction, as the vast majority of gamers know it very well. Long-time fans of the series have waited patiently for 6 years for a realistic Zelda (since that technical demonstration video shown to the public during E3 back in 2000). Now, after such a long hiatus, such a title finally is among us, ready to be explored endlessly by the avid gamers.
Conclusion: When you boil the game down, it's the crown jewel of Zeldas to date. The controls, attention to detail, and replay value will blow you away. Once you get the chance, buy this game, play this game, replay this game, marry this game. It is by far one of the best in the history of games.
