Summary: I'm a huge fan of Zelda, from the original Nintendo games. I picked this up in 2013 having stayed away from the handhelds until OoT came to DS. I tried it, found the controls so cumbersome I couldn't get immersed in the game and the plot fairly lacking. Was probably good when it came out, but not with current games. This is coming from a guy with a zelda leather wallet, and a few limited addition items.
Summary: With Spirit Tracks, Nintendo appears to have forgotten that their original fans still play the games. I've been an addict since Zelda came out in the late 1980s. But not this one. Game play is similar to many Zelda's with one glaring difference - for much of the first part of the game you have to blow into the mic to make anything happen. This may be fine if you're 10. Not so much if you're pushing 50 and like to play on the train during a commute.
