Summary: I was really looking forward to play this game, after knowing that It was created by Hironobu Sakaguchi and musicalized by Nobuo Uematsu. The gameplay is fresh and fun, mixing strategy with classic JRPG elements. Yet it has some flaws, for example the storyline has a lot of plot holes and it is not really interesting or engaging, and the game can be completed in less than 25 hours, which is kind of short for an RPG, but it has its own charm, besides the localization work...
Summary: I don't really feel like spending too much time discussing this game. This is a rather late review, having purchased a year ago. I would say it is a lesser game overall than Xenoblade, but a worthy game in any Wii collection. Some unique skills and ways of looking at action RPG gameplay. Very fast paced, and quite a bit of fun. Fantastic and epic boss fights. For the price this game is going for, certainly worth a try.
Summary: I know that I said my next review would be of Pandoras Tower, but I decided to review The Last Story first because a few of my fans (lol) asked me to write a review of it. I probably won't even be able to buy it on day one because I spent all my money on Xenoblade. A complaint often leveled against The Last Story is it's cliched story, and it's a fair complaint.
Summary: UPDATE 11/14/13: I walked away from this game for a while because Steam made me an offer I couldn't refuse, but two weeks ago I decide to beat it before I packed my Wii away for good. So, having beaten the game and stretched it to 45 hours, I can safely say this is a great game. The final act builds up to a surprise ending that left me wanting more. Well, I got more.
A slightly flawed masterpiece by the great Hironobu Sakaguchi
new Tron, Amazon

Summary: More than ever before, I wish amazon reviews allowed half stars in their reviews, because I really would have liked to have given The Last Story four and a half stars. The Last Story is an absolutely beautiful game, both aesthetically and emotionally. It tells a rich, intimate story in a way that only a master like Hironobu Sakaguchi, who has been enchanting our world with his masterful games for decades, can tell.
Summary: I will try not to make this long. I will start by saying this game reminds me of FF6, FF7 and Chrono Trigger. But not in the mechanics and features, but the general feel of adventure the game brings about. overall I had allot of fun with this. The story is cliche after cliche, the technical graphics are subpar, and woulda been great on an HD console, but as for the Wiis limitations and the artistic side of the graphics, they are outstanding.
Summary: I, personally, loved the game. There is 2 major issues I have with the game: it was on the Wii system (which causes it to have long loading issues at times), and you cannot copy your save (this prevents me from saving 'key' saves from my first play through of the game). :) It's a pretty game considering its on a system that can't do much more than basic DVD quality. And I've read reviews on how people don't like the characters, but I personally loved all the characters.
Summary: Okay, what I have concluded thus far from playing Last Story since I've recieved it Monday August 20th: PROS: fair gameplay on manual, good music, awesome graphics, normal interestingish plotline and characters, and you can customize colors of clothing etc whoo personalizing (I died when I got "invisible clothing") CONS: could use work on camera, I wish that on "seek" mode, you could direct with the wii remote instead of arrow keys or nunchuk since this is afterall made...
