Very technical

Zach, Amazon
10 November 2013
  • Summary: I like this game a lot more than I had thought I would. I never played much king of fighters, but it is much more technical than a lot of other games. The more you learn it, the more you get out of it. The port isn't too bad. Very basic, in that the games only have an Arcade mode and a training mode. The only thing I am a bit sad about is how pixelated the graphics are on an HD TV. If you want better graphics, something after 2000 is recommended.

Nice!

  • Summary: First off you can't beat the price. The collection includes King of Fighters 94-98. Also there are some major bonus material that you can unlock if you take the time to complete the missions modes as well. When you adjust the game settings, it's saved for all the KOF games which is also important. All in all a good series to have for your Wii!

Great collection for fighting game fans Although missing some key features

artboy598 "artboy598", Amazon
20 April 2012
  • Summary: This is a great game combining the first 5 King of Fighters(KOF) games together in one neat package. This contains KOF '94, '95 '96, '97, and '98 in one package as well as a Challenge mode with various challenges arranged by difficulty which on completion award extras such as artwork and soundtracks from the various games. The game play is great and I've experienced no slowdown in any of my games.

Great Retro Fun

dreamcastluvr "Born-again Gamer", Amazon

  • Summary: I love retro games. These are the games I grew up with as a kid. Now even as an adult, it's still fun to go back and play these games and relive memories. In this day of 3D fighters and SSF4, the King of Fighter series from the 90's still retains its charm and playability. This disc has five KoF games for a bargain rate (especially for those of us who remember what these cost individually in the 90's). All five games are faithful to the Neo Geo & arcade versions.

Great game

SegaGuy217, Amazon

  • Summary: I never really got into the King of Fighters games but when I saw this I knew I had to add it to my collection. The game has its challenging moments and has multiple difficulties and quite a variety of characters. I have to say this is probably one of the better fighting franchises in the world. Not the best but its up there with the word great.

A classic!!!

Anibal, Amazon
28 February 2009
  • Summary: I am fanatic of the fight games, especially of the King of Fighters, I'm should say to you that this collection is very but very good for those that loved these games, but if you are not, you didn't possibly like it. The only disadvantage of the game is that this doesn't have VS mode and it is quite tedious to have to compete with the same team until your competitor defeats you (when you play with another person...).

A Fantastic Fighting Collection..IF You Have The Right Controller

G-FRESH , GameStop
16 February 2009
  • Summary: Fighting fans rejoice as SNK has brought Wii one of its very best collection of fighters, The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga. This complilation includes the one that started it all, KOF '94 through the fantastic (and arguably) greatest entry KOF '98. Playing this sweet collection has brought back MANY fond memories and each of the games here are all just as good as when they first came out.
