  • Excerpt: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is a popular Cartoon Network show that has been around for a few years now. Midway picked up the rights to it, as well as Ed, Edd n Eddy. This is the first video game released for the cartoon, and to my surprise, it isn't half bad. Though the Wii version is based entirely off of the GameCube version released two months earlier in September 2006, it does attempt to fill a huge void missing in the Wii's launch lineup: Super Smash Bros.

  • Excerpt: What do you get when you take a popular animated series from the Cartoon Network, implement gameplay similar to games like Capcom's Power Stone, and port it over to the Nintendo Wii? You get Midway's The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. Though this short game may appeal to a younger audience, even they may find some difficulty in enjoying the exact game that came out on the GameCube and PlayStation 2 earlier this year.

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy Review

GameSpot
21 November 2006
  • Summary: This game is surprisingly enjoyable for a few hours, but after that it goes from good, mindless fun to mind-numbingly repetitive.
  • Pros: Good sense of humor and style, Frantic, fast-paced gameplay, Fun, multitiered stages and a decent variety of game modes
  • Cons: The camera makes it especially difficult to see what's going on, Extremely short story mode, The action gets old quickly, Makes very little use of the Wii Remote

  • Cons: L'IA

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

Planet-eGamers
