Summary: There are many different challenges with this game. They range from fighting, skills with the controls and mental challenges. I bought it for my 8 year old daughter, but I seem to play it mostly. When I get to a point where I can't get further she has the skills with the controls to get me through. I am usually better with the mental skills. All in all it is very enjoyable, even though sometimes frustrating. Well worth the money.
Summary: I bought this game from Amazon and it was really cheap so I didn't expect much from the game. However, it turned out to be great fun and it used alot of the features of the Wii. It is definetly a game for hardcore gamers, but I think it would be ideal for someone aged from 5-11, because the game requires you to use your head at some parts. It also has quite a few cut-scenes of clips from the movie (starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig).
Excerpt: "...a game that jumped off the shelf at me. This games is based on the new blockbuster film from the studio behind The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Its a world where witches fly through frozen skies, giant armoured bears fight to defend their kingdom and where sinister Gobblers kidnap children and carry them to a frozen wasteland. Lyra Belacqua travels around in this mysteroius world, where her uncle, Lord Asriel, has been imprisoned, her best ...
Pros: good game with clips of film on
Cons: can only save the game at the end of each level
Conclusion: really good game, easy controls, interesting levels, lots to do. The only thing I dont like is that it only saves after every level which can be a bnit annoying as you end up repeating your self. Otherwise good and would advise buying.
Conclusion: This game is really good! Plus the price is good. I found the controls to be strange, but you get use to them quite easy. This game is more for a person who enjoys adventure games, this game is for adults as well as children. Its got some real challenging parts in which, if like me, will annoy ya a bit!!!! lol The only thing I found wierd was the ending, I found it to be in complete, It didnt feel like an ending, which was a let down for me!
Summary: My son bought this for himself after seeing the film. Usually I would steer away from games of films as they disappoint! BUT this game definately didn't do that! I personally wasn't impressed by the film and therefore would say the game is 100% better than it! The control were easy to master and game play was interesting and moved at a good pace.
