Summary: Another Bad Game to a good Movie/Book, the controls are bad, the story is lame and it is one of those games oriented to kids but so hard to control that it is impossible for kids to have fun playing it, after an hour or so of listening to my 6 year old son getting frustrated with this thing, we went to the local video game store to trade it for something better, (even a pack of gum is better and more entertaining).
Summary: This game is just a cheap cash in on the book and the movie. There is nothing enjoyable about it. I think that i would rather have someone continuously sting me with nettles for an hour than play this game for the same length of time. I loved the books, thought that the film was ok, and think that the game is a monstrosity. Instead of buying this game, just burn a couple of £20 notes, trust me, you'll have more fun.
Conclusion: I was given this game when I first got the wii and was very disappionted. The graphics are terrible, it looks like an early gamecube game. There are many tedious thing in this game, the worst are the parts were Lyra is walking across a been and you have to balance the wii remote but if you keep it level and steady she will still fall.
Summary: This may look cute and fun but, quite simply, it isn't. The developer has rushed it out to cash in on the film to dupe new gamers who have just got into gaming via the Wii. The graphics are poor, the game is short and repetitive and no care has been taken. There are already lots similar games available which all do it so much better. If you're after platforming fun go for Super Mario Galaxy, Zack and Wiki, Super Paper Mario, NiGHTS or Sonic and the Secret Rings.
