Summary: This is a really good game!!!! The only thing is that it would be a little scary for little kids. Here's the storyline: you start in a town, the mailman is waiting at the dock for the captain of the ship to mail a letter. (by the way, all of the characters are dogs) when the captain comes, he said that the letter got wet and the address is hard to make out; so the (new) mailman asks a neighbor if he can read the letter, he tells him what the address is, (you pick the...
Summary: This probably isn't what you're expecting, ignore the fact that it has Ubisoft's logo on it. It's a full blown adventure game. The fetch quests can get a bit tiring after a while, but there's something about this game that's just so relaxing. Music's incredible, too. Worthwhile if you're looking for something just a bit different, something slower paced.
Summary: This game is fantastic. My family loves the dog island game and have taken three different dogs through the entire game. While this is a one player game, it is just as fun watching and strategizing with the one playing as it is to play it. We have enjoyed helping each other go through some of the more challenging portions (each one of us has a strength).
Summary: A few summers ago, I found this game at a video rental store and was immediately hooked. Iwent back and renewed every week until I had finished the game about three times. I have since moved away, and have no video rental stores in the area. Recently, I had a sstrong urge to play the game again, so I looked on amazon. I was suprised at the price of a new THE DOG ISLAND game. $40- that's crazy. It's not even a new game.
Summary: I love dogs with all my heart! This is a very heart warming story in the game. The boss has more action then petz dogz 2.I loved it!My first profile had a dog that was baised on my dog in real life.It is very fun!
Summary: My girls (8 and 6) are the ultimate dog lovers! When they saw that we'd bought this game they begged me to let them play it. They loved Nintendogs and played that game for months, so to see something similar on the big screen was very exciting for them. I read previous comments about all the reading that was required for the game, but didn't worry because my girls love to read. They literally played this game for 20 minutes before asking for the other game we bought.
Summary: This game has so much text in it, I had to read everything for my daughter. That wouldn't be bad if it helped move the plot along, but most of the text was completely pointless and slowed the game play down to a crawl. As for the game play - there is none. You pick your dog and then you read hundreds of lines of painfully boring text just to learn that you need to find one other dog 3 houses away.
Summary: I bought this game for my teenage daughters because they love it! Good graphics and fun game!It seems like it would be for all ages, but there are some spots that get difficult, so it won't bore older kids. The dogs and other animals are sooo cute!
