Summary: I bought this game for Christmas for my kindergartener a few years ago. I bought it because it reminded me of Girl Scouts a bit and she was a Daisy, at the time. At that point, she couldn't read very well and her motor skills still needed perfected, so I had to help her with this game. She loved the game, then, and still loves the game, today (she is now 8)!! It is very well designed! There are so many things for the DARING GIRL to do to complete.
Summary: My 8-year-old really likes this game. She won the tetherball game after trying, waiting, and then trying again, and now easily wins (the trick is to wait until the ball is almost past you before swinging). The only think she doesn't like so far is that some items are very expensive to buy (e.g. a backpack for $1000). Overall, she really likes it. As others said, it would be nice if the quotes would stay on-screen a little longer, too. Some of them are pretty good!
Summary: Huge disappointment in the end because after all the hard work to earn badges players don't really get to go on any kind of fun adventure. It just shows pictures with captions of your "adventure". I bought it for my 7 year old daughter who enjoyed the activities but didn't like the way the game ended. Can't say I blame her! Surprised this game, when I researched it, was given a 4 star rating.
Summary: My 13 year old daughter received this game for Christmas last year. She said while it was fun she was dissapointed in the abrupt ending when the games were finished. All of the games were fun. Not only for girls but my 10 year old son enjoyed it too. Favorite part - going to the caves. Least favorite part - bird spotting.
