Summary: It was an alright game. If you have an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, then I suggest playing a far superior fps game on one of those consoles. If you only have a wii, then this is an excellent choice to scratch your fps itch.
Summary: In The Conduit you play as Michael Ford, a secret service agent recruited to a shady government agency known as The Trust by a man called John Adams. After being recruited you are immediately sent to retrieve a device stolen by a 'terrorist' called Prometheus, the ASE. ASE, standing for All Seeing Eye. Soon after what appears to be the alien (named the Drudge) invasion of Washington D.C. starts and you are betrayed by Adams, but saved by Prometheus.
Summary: That's what really attracted me to The Conduit. It has a storyline that's about shadow governments and alien invasions. I remember seeing the commercial when the game came out, and thinking, "Wow, that sounds so awesome." But I'm not an enormous FPS fan, so I waited for a good price drop on picking it up. The Campaign of The Conduit is pretty solid. The voice-acting is very good, even on par with Goldeneye (the Wii game, not the movie).
Summary: The Conduit is one of the best shooters on the Wii. It has great graphics(for the Wii), pretty good controls, and a good campaign. However, the most important thing about shooters these days is the multiplayer. The Conduit has pretty good online multiplayer. It's not perfect, and it has a lot of problems with hackers. Still, it can give you a good time. The Conduit's biggest problems are it's lack of guns, and it's "voting system". The Conduit doesn't have a lot of guns.
Limited Edition of The Conduit; a solid effort from HVS and Sega

Summary: I bought this special edition of The Conduit when it first came out. It comes with different front and back cover shots, an art book and some unlockable extras once you play the game. The only way you could have gotten your hands on this was if you pre-ordered it at the time. And now, on with my review: First person shooters are what the Wii was made for. And when done right it shows what can be done for Nintendo's console.
Good game, but gets hard to pass certain levels at times.

Summary: Let me start off by mentioning that I own a Wii and a Xbox 360. I bought this game after hearing that it was the best first person shooter on the Wii, and it did not dissappoint me in any way. The story kind of reminds me of "Doom", but with its own twists. The controls take a little getting used to at first, but it is expected due to not that many First person shooters being out on Wii. As for gameplay, it is great.
