Summary: It was an alright game. If you have an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, then I suggest playing a far superior fps game on one of those consoles. If you only have a wii, then this is an excellent choice to scratch your fps itch.
Summary: That's what really attracted me to The Conduit. It has a storyline that's about shadow governments and alien invasions. I remember seeing the commercial when the game came out, and thinking, "Wow, that sounds so awesome." But I'm not an enormous FPS fan, so I waited for a good price drop on picking it up. The Campaign of The Conduit is pretty solid. The voice-acting is very good, even on par with Goldeneye (the Wii game, not the movie).
Limited Edition of The Conduit; a solid effort from HVS and Sega

Summary: I bought this special edition of The Conduit when it first came out. It comes with different front and back cover shots, an art book and some unlockable extras once you play the game. The only way you could have gotten your hands on this was if you pre-ordered it at the time. And now, on with my review: First person shooters are what the Wii was made for. And when done right it shows what can be done for Nintendo's console.
Good game, but gets hard to pass certain levels at times.

Summary: Let me start off by mentioning that I own a Wii and a Xbox 360. I bought this game after hearing that it was the best first person shooter on the Wii, and it did not dissappoint me in any way. The story kind of reminds me of "Doom", but with its own twists. The controls take a little getting used to at first, but it is expected due to not that many First person shooters being out on Wii. As for gameplay, it is great.
Summary: I was looking forward to playing the Conduit for the Wii ever since I first saw previews of the game. However, when it finally came out, the reviews were good, but less than stellar. I decided I'd wait until it dropped out of the $50 price range and into the $30 range. It's more than worth that amount if you want a great FPS for the Wii. Let's get the weaknesses of the game out of the way first. The storyline is somewhat generic.
Summary: We got a Wii for my family to play with and I never got excited about any of the titles. I rented this from a local video outlet to try out. Being from the old Doom and Duke Nukem generation I was looking for something challenging in a 1st person shooter that would keep my interest longer than say my 4 year old's atttention span with Wii Music. This game absolutely hit the mark. I would agree with most of the reviews here that the graphics are good to fair but effective.
