For what it is, they’ve done an admirably good job with this game. Yes the graphics and controls aren’t the greatest, but the vast amount of content more than makes up for the few issues with this game. You can easily get in shape, lose weight and have fun doing it all at the same time. If you like Wii Fit then you’ll love this game really, as I said in the intro it’s like Wii Fit on steroids. Fitness and wellness games are becoming more and more the rage these days. From Wii Fit to EA Active and My Fitness Coach, there are many developers and publishers taking part in this developing genre, each with a different take on how to do things. The latest entry is THQ’s The Biggest Loser, based on the TV show of the same name. Is this game just an attempt at cashing in on a hot TV show or does it hold its own against some considerable competition? Read more

Since the release of Wii Fit there have been many fitness-based video-games released. Sadly most of these games rehash the same modes that Wii Fit contains without adding anything else. The newest fitness game released is entitled The Biggest Loser, and sadly this game follows the same trend. Unfortunately, this game will not help players lose a lot of weight, but it will help people kickstart into an exercise routine that will eventually help them in the long run. Read more

Because I'm overweight and forever looking for that "magic" fix--I'm addicted to and eager to buy all of the fitness games that come out for the Wii console. I've got pretty much all of them and am usually, in the end, disappointed with something about each. If I don't feel tired or sweaty at the end, I feel like I wasted my time. NOT with The Biggest Loser game, though! I've only played it a few times and am sweating before I even get through most of the warm-ups! Read more or see product

  • Is there a problem with the Biggest Loser game?

My Biggest Loser game doesn't allow me to access the training module under the Fitness tab. I can do the exercises, but it doesn't give my character credit for doing it. I can input my calories fine, but I can't do anything else. Is my game defective, or is anyone else having this problem?

    Answered by thimble26 2010-02-26:

I actually figured out the problem, I think. Under the fitness program, the "Today's training" tab is not always highlighted because they only give you training exercises every other day. Once you click on the training button, you must do the exercises or you won't get another chance that day. At the beginning I was just clicking on it to check it out, and then when I tried to go back to it, it wasn't highlighted anymore. You must wait another 2 days before another training exercise is scheduled. On the days you don't have a scheduled training session, you can do one of the exercise routines, but then you have to manually go back into the fitness program again and log in the minutes you worked out. The program doesn't automatically give you credit for exercises outside of the fitness program, even though they're within the game more

Biggest Loser Challenge game mode: This mode is accessed by selecting the Fitness Program option in the user profiles' main menu. Basically, you select an amount of time ( 4 weeks, 8 or 12) when creating the program, and every day (real time) you are presented with certain activities for that day, such as entering calories consumed for that day and a predetermined training program ( which is determined by the game, NOT THE PLAYER.) There is also a field titled "Additional Training Logged" where the player logs any additional training they completed that day. If the user selects the calenar icon on the left side of the Fitness Program windo, they can select which days they would like to add a training session. If the player is unable to make changes to the calendar schedule, it is because the calendar is locked. There is a lock con more
