Terrible

Michael J. Warren, Amazon
1 January 2013
  • Summary: Absolutely awful. Could not do anything in the game when I got to a certain level and everything is so dark you can't see what is happening 75% of the time. Sold it for what I could. get.

Liked it, but didn't love it

Bill, Amazon
9 December 2012
  • Summary: This would be a great game if it wasn't so difficult. Some stages are really fun, but others a so difficult that you will want to give up right away and never play it again.

A barebones return to form for the series

Sigmund Freud, Amazon
5 March 2012
  • Summary: Firstly I played tenchu 3 tenchu z so im not an expert of how the series evolved or where it came from. All I know is that there were two psone games. The game at its basic is a standard stealth game, don't get seen, get from point a to point b and eliminate the key target. And I think that's where many people didn't like it. Its very restrictive as a tenchu game when it comes to how you can approach a level.

I'm a little disappointed.

Johnny C. "PBP", Amazon
3 February 2012
  • Summary: I guess I should expect to be disappointed when a game which has been fantastic on other platforms, is adapted to Nintendo. Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo and the types of games they offer. I still play all the oldies from NES and SuperNES. The point is this game just does not follow the original Tenchu series. The game play is quite different and sometimes confusing. The main object of the game is to get through the level without being detected.

Brilliant

digital.maverick, Amazon
23 May 2011
  • Summary: I don't understand why this game had such bad reviews. I picked it up at Best Buy for 7.99 and was a little wary to try it out after seeing all the bad rap. Man, was I surprised. I am a Tenchu veteran, having played the original on PSX and Wrath of Heaven on PS2. This is on par with those if not the best. Now, mind you, it's very different. But in a clever way.

Tenchu for the wii

J. Negron "A Family Man", Amazon
11 October 2010
  • Summary: I am a HUGE fan of the Tenchu series. I have owned them all. When I saw that Wii was getting the latest, I had to have one. Graphics are great. Also some of the best voice acting of the franchise. My HUGE CON is the controls. The Wii controls are something to get used to and you have to be quick about it or you will either DIE or end up in a sword fight. I wish this game offered the classic controls of the olders versions.
