Summary: Bought this film for my five year old son and he loves it. The storyline is good and it has kept him amused for many an hour. Also bought him the Wii game too which he has mastered really well.
Excerpt: "Surf's Up is a WII game based on the animated film of the same name. It's a decent game and a pretty good interpretation of the movie, which features surf-boarding penguins. The whole game is based around surf-boarding, though there is also a bonus game where you have to slide down a track on a leaf - obviously this has certain similarities with the main game, but it does have a different feel to it. There are several characters to choose from ...
Summary: What can I say, it's penguin racing! Not a game I would buy, but fun all the same. The graphics are ok, the sound track is good & the controls are easy & made somewhat fun when using a wii after too many beers. It's one for kids that like the movie & great for parties. A birthday present from some months ago, that still gets dusted off when my Nephew & Niece come round. Good, easy family fun.
Conclusion: i dont really like 'film tie-ins' but this game is unlike most 'tie-ins' is fun yep its fun to play but the single player mode is much to short and theres not much replay value. so its multiplayer time, in multiplayer this is great and non-gamers and play this as well which is great. if you like wii play, your onto a winner.
Conclusion: This is another game that i wasted my money on. I mean i thought the wii was invented cause it was different from other games consoles with the way you play the games alot of games your jumping round with the controls i thought his game would be fun especially after seeing the film i was very disapointed.
