Wii - Super Swing Golf Season 2
12 June 2008
Summary: If you enjoy Wii Sports Golfing this expands the courses and club choices, similar to the Tiger Woods golfing, but not as realistic. The greens are harder to read and the shots do not really carry with the wind. The club they suggest on long shots is the club you need to stick with. Would like to be able to use personal Mii's, but that is not an option. Overall, it is fun if you like Wii Golfing and I would recommend.
Summary: This isn't necessarily a bad game. For those that like golf games and don't mind (or even like) the sugar-coated characters and music, this is a fine game. The controls work well, it is intuitive, and there is a wealth of modes and unlockables to extend the games lifespan. But for those that don't particularly love golf games or can't stand the cutesy characters, this game isn't for you.
Summary: There is a 30-45 minute learning curve. After that, it's fun city. This game is great for ages 8-80. This is a not a serious golf game, but after playing it, you discover that it's great for serious golfers. As in Wii Sports Golf, wind direction, club selection, bunkers, water hazards, putting slope, must all be considered. The better you are at understanding real golf, the better you will be at this game. The anime characters are humorous and add to the value.
Summary: My 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter absolutely love this game! I asked them what they liked about it and all I can get out of them is "I don't know, it's just fun!" My take on this as a parent: I see my kids enjoying themselves, being active, and really taking their time learn a new sport. Good enough for me! Buy it!
