List All 8 PricesThis game is categorized as a crossover fighting video game designed especially by developer Nintendo for Wii unit gameplay. It is a product of publisher Nintendo with Sora as developer. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the latest installment in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Features
There are three modes of play with Super Smash Bros. Brawl – you can try the single-player, the multi-player, or the online multi-player mode as you see fit. Though this game is simpler than other fighting video games you may find, even Nintendo veterans will appreciate the scope of the game and ease of use. Super Smash Bros. Brawl also relies on a double-layer disc, which is a first for Wii games. This game is also special because it prioritizes ring-outs (or being able to knock your opponent out of the ring) over knockouts. The characters who fight it out in the ring come from the Nintendo pool of video game characters.

Discussion Review - Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Reviewer: videolamer.com1 day agoChris: Brawl does the frantic fun better than Melee did, that’s for sure. I think that overall it’s an improvement, and I don’t think I’ll be going back either. With a lengthier single-player, online play, and stage editor, Brawl adds a good amount on top of its predecessor while tweaking the balance a bit. Is it perfect? No, but no game ever is. It’s fun, and that is what’s most important. When it comes to multiplayer, at least, Brawl is a hard game to beat. Read more

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Review for the Nintendo Wii
Reviewer: cheatcc.com2 weeks agoby Maria Montoro Super Smash Bros. Brawl is, no doubt, one of the most anticipated games of the year. The two previous installments of the series sold like peanuts at a baseball stadium. The original Super Smash Bros. came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1999 and managed to sell almost five million copies worldwide, becoming the fifth best-selling game for the console. 2001 brought us Super Smash Bros. Melee to the GameCube and quickly became the best-selling game for the ... Read more

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Reviewer: ztgamedomain.com10 April 2008- Overall 10

The formula for Nintendo's Smash Bros. series should be familiar to just about everyone by now. This is easily one of the company's most successful franchises to date, and for good reason, it caters to nearly everyone who has ever enjoyed holding a controller in their hand at one point or another. This includes young kids just now getting into the hobby all the way through the older, more jaded gamers who have become accustomed to the fast paced, bump-mapped soldiers ... Read more

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Reviewer: almenconi.com09 April 2008Smash Bros. fans (aka every Nintendo fan in existence) have been waiting for this game for a long time. And I think it is now safe to say that it was well worth the wait. New gameplay modes, fantastic new stages, exciting new characters, a stage building feature, the final smashes (special, powerful abilities unlocked by breaking an item that shows up now and then), a great story mode, a more well-balanced roster, new event matches, more trophies, numerous awards, and... Nintendo's rock 'em, sock 'em mascots finally hit the Wii.
Reviewer: Yahoo08 April 2008- Overall 10

Also new is online multiplayer. Nintendo has demonstrated how smoothly this can work on their handheld DS, but now the Wii gets the full-on treatment. It's simple to go online and jump into lag-free games, although you still need to use Nintendo's wonky 'friend code' matching feature to find people to play. There isn't much in the way of goals, ranking, or community features, but the ability to play against online opponents gives Super Smash Brothers Brawl nearly unli... Read more
