Excerpt: Super Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the biggest releases for the video game industry. Families that enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy will naturally take an interest in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Let me start off by telling all ya’ll that this sequel is more difficult than the first.
Excerpt: The most obvious aspect of Galaxy 2 is that it is built completely off of the original Galaxy 's engine. Thus, instead of reinventing the wheel for their newest title, the development team was able to focus completely on making improvements and crafting the best game possible.
Excerpt: Can a direct sequel to one of the best platformers of all time have the same impact as the original? Super Mario Galaxy was so different, so unique, so exquisitely made that it's without a doubt the best game on the Wii.
Excerpt: 3-2-1, blastoff! It’s time to explore one really wacky universe in Super Mario Galaxy 2 with your old pal Mario. Is this sequel new and cool enough for you to take another interplanetary ride with the plumber who’s always dedicated to saving Princess Peach?

Summary: Parents need to know that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a nearly all-ages platformer with only mild cartoon violence. Mario is the quintessential video game protagonist, an unquestionably good soul journeying to save his princess from an evil monster named Bowser.
Conclusion: If this doesn't sound like a fun and complete game to you, you are crazy. Of course, Super Mario is not for everyone, and perhaps 3D Mario platforming versus the four-player 2D, side-scrolling Super Mario that was released back in November isn't much.
Excerpt: Three years ago, Mario hit the Wii with a remarkable 3D entry that brought a ton of innovation to the series through its spherical level designs that fit the galaxy moniker well. It also introduced new items like star bits that acted as both currency and a projectile attack.
