Summary: My son, (and I) are huge STNG fans. This was the closest we could find for Wii. He's figured out how to play & enjoys it. I think it's a mix of a couple of the Star Trek shows, but I'm not sure. I sure wish there were more Wii games out there for Star Trek!
Summary: I just got this game yesterday and I love it! It's very simple and easy to learn. There are a couple non-intuitive things but they're easily overcome. It's a great space galactic strategy but really simplified so you can do the fun stuff. There's resource management but you don't waste a lot of time doing it. You either have a Starbase, Spacedock, or you don't. You have a mining station or a research thing or you don't. And you have turrets or you don't.
Summary: this is just simply fun to play. it is a game that you can go back to and it will be fresh. not very predictable and anything can happen. keeps you coming back for more. i was pleasantly surprised!
Summary: It looks like serious amends were made in response to Legacy: Conquest has been drastically dunned down into a lovable arcade/respectably strategic console title. The simplification of this recent Star Trek franchise might be both its greatest strength and weakness. The learning curve of this game is low.
Summary: Having been brought up with Star Trek and new to the Wii I could see the potential for this game especially with the type of game control the Wii has but a lot of the reviews seems to make it mediocre. Nothing of the sort as it is totally addictive if a little simple. You have two levels of action as you can sit back and allow rt3 computer to work out the outcome of battles but still have the ability to retreat if you want.
Summary: I managed to find this while scouring the bargain bins of a gamestation for about £7, and being the big Star-Trek fan that I am, made sure that I bought it. The game plays out like a strategy game: You have a map where you can see (or not, if fog of war is on) all the planets of the galaxy. You can have up to 3 fleets at a time and you must go around conquering planets, fighting native races (e.g.
Summary: The game itself, is a pretty good game, surprisingly. There is no storyline to speak of, which i found disappointing, but i'll go more into that in the bad points Good Points - It's fun: The game is fun to play, you find destroying the Klingon Empire, the Confederacy and others rather enjoyable. - You need to use your brain: It requires logic and using your brain to win on this. If you don't have that, you'll struggle.
