Trekkies will rejoice at being able to play this Wii-format game Star Trek: Conquest that is based on the very popular cult classic TV and movie series of Star Trek. It was developed for publisher Bethesda Studios by 4J Studios.

The game is considered part of the strategy genre of video games but can only be played in single-player mode. The storyline follows that of the Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine stories. The player is able to choose whether to be of the Breen, Dominion, Cardassian, Romulan, Klingon, and Federation races that faced combat in the Dominion War that followers of Deep Space Nine know about. Though some might be surprised at how expensive the Wii-format game is, it seems that hard-core Trekkies will see the value of this game and support its propagation through its promotion by Star Trek fans.
