Summary: Compared to the PC version of Spore, this game is quite dull. If you are looking for a game for younger kids, it should do nicely, but if you're an adult looking for a fun, creative expirience (which is what Spore is all about), I would skip this. The idea of Spore is to create your own, unique creature using a variety of body parts like wings, antlers, body shapes, etc, and help that creature grow and evolve in it's enviroment.
Summary: Based on other reviews, was hoping for it to be more fun for my kids. They play it and enjoy when they do, but not as much as some other games we have. So, average 'fun' for us. I will say we normally have high expectations from the stuff we buy, so, a 3 star from us is probably equal to a 4 star from a lot of other folks.
Summary: I was super stoked for this game, because I was a huge fan of the original spore game for the pc, but When i started playing it was kinda cool but i dont like how you cant make your own body shapes, and i don't like the game play the quests are over complicated like when you get to the second level you are stuck there for ever and cant even do anything.
Summary: I've just about finished wrapping up game play with Spore Hero and overall I will say that it has been a very enjoyable experience. There have been moments of frustration (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get to the Moonlit Caverns), but you'll eventually be able to overcome them. The game starts with you crash landing on a planet along with your arch-nemesis.
Summary: I enjoyed Spore for PC, a little more kidish than I was hopeing, but I could get around it. However, for Spore hero, they made it A LOT more for kids...Didnt know that when I bought it. But it seems to be pointed toward a very specific age group. Because it isnt that much fun for teenagers, but it is to hard for my 6 year old sibling. So, the age they are shooting for is around, 8-12.
Summary: I bought this for my 12yr old son. He is quite a gamer, and played it quiute a bit at first. He seemed to lose interest after about a month. He went back to Zelda and some his other games. When I asked why he wasn't playing Spore Hero, he said he had beat it already.
